Tony is a great communicator, I was able to get in touch with him at any time. I didn’t have to, but I knew he would respond quickly if we had a need. The cabin is cozy and private. There was a great view and I loved sitting out on the balcony. There are lots of beautiful antiques in the cabin. Everything was clean. Thanks, Tony for a great stay!

Wonderful beautiful cabin that's perfect if you're looking for a more secluded feel! My girlfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay to celebrate our 2-year anniversary and thought the decorations were very cozy.The cabin is really close to De Soto and Mentone and don't think I could have expected a better location. Great value for the rate of the stay. Do note that there currently isn't wifi at the cabin (cell service works perfectly fine). Wasn't an issue for us, but just something to note if you need to be connected while you're getting awayTony was also a gracious and communicative host! We'll stay again when (not if) we decide to come back and visit Mentone. Thanks again!

The road leading to the cabin is washed out in areas and definitely dangerous at night. The view was limited — the listing photos appear zoomed in or framed to make it look more open than it really is. There’s no washer or dryer.Inside, the layout made it hard to fully relax. The couch faces sideways to the TV, so my wife and I couldn’t sit together and watch comfortably without twisting our necks. The only place to sit together inside was at the kitchen counter, and because there’s no table and chairs, we couldn’t play board games or card games like we planned.One of the listed amenities was a DVD player, which we were excited to use since we brought some of our favorite movies. Unfortunately, we couldn’t get it to work with the TV. When we reached out to Tony, he wasn’t sure how to set it up either and mentioned that trying different connections could risk losing the TV signal, so we had to give up on that.The décor is full of charming knick‑knacks, and the privacy and quiet were both very nice. If you’re mainly looking for a place to sleep and enjoy the décor, this place fits that. If you’re hoping to spend a lot of relaxing time inside with your significant other, it may not be the best fit.The host, Tony, was fabulous — quick responses, helpful recommendations, easy check‑in, and friendly without being intrusive
