The name says it all! Discover (your) “favorite spot by the Siel”! This Frisian-style house, scheduled for completion in October 2024, is located in a quiet area with no through traffic, just off Eilsum and right on the Greetsieler Sieltief!

The interior was lovingly designed in collaboration with an interior designer and exudes Frisian coziness in a modern country-house style with maritime accents.

As soon as you enter the house, the high-quality furnishings—some of which were custom-made by a carpenter—catch your eye, lending the home a special, cozy atmosphere. Directly behind the entryway, you’ll find the high-quality, fully equipped kitchen. Among other features, it includes a modern induction cooktop, an oven with an integrated microwave, a refrigerator with a VitaFresh zone, a dishwasher, and numerous other amenities such as a filter coffee maker, a Senseo pod machine, a toaster, a kettle, an egg cooker, a blender, various baking utensils, an espresso maker, and an elegant tea set.

Adjacent to this is the spacious, stylishly furnished living and dining area. On the bench furnished with cozy pillows and the comfortably upholstered dining chairs, you can linger longer after a meal together to “chat” or enjoy a fun game night. In the sitting area, equipped with a large smart TV and a separate digital stereo system, you can spend relaxing evenings on the spacious corner sofa. Since the property borders directly on the Sieltief, you’ll enjoy a stunning view of the greenery and the water from the entire living/dining area—pure relaxation! From here, you can step out onto the large, fully furnished terrace. On the private dock, which features additional seating, you can enjoy the sunset in the evening with a delicious glass of wine. Also on the first floor, you’ll find the first bedroom with a 1.60 m box-spring double bed (separate mattresses) and a closet, as well as the large bathroom with a built-in infrared sauna, a walk-in shower at ground level, a toilet, a hair dryer, and a sink.

The two additional bedrooms are located on the upper floor; each features a 1.80 m box-spring double bed (separate mattresses), built-in closets, and a smart TV. Another bright bathroom with a skylight, walk-in shower, sink, toilet, and hair dryer is available here. A washer-dryer, clothes rack, ironing board, and iron, as well as a vacuum cleaner and other cleaning supplies, can be found in the boiler room if needed.

A kettle grill is also available for your grilling enjoyment.

The entire house features wood-look tile flooring and comfortable underfloor heating. Fly screens are installed on the main windows, and blackout blinds are also installed in the bedrooms.

Enjoy the magnificent view of the water and the wonderful sunsets over the East Frisian landscape from the cozy, private beach chair.

In front of the house, there are two parking spaces and a wallbox for charging an electric car (for an additional fee, payable directly on site). There is also a garden shed with an electrical outlet for your bicycles or a covered area to store them.

Pets and smoking are not permitted inside the house.

Free fiber-optic Wi-Fi is available. We cannot guarantee unrestricted availability or sufficient speed.

Note: The property is located directly on the Siel. It is not fenced, and access to the water is not secured. (Young) children should not go into the garden unsupervised. In particular, children should be able to swim safely. We assume no liability for personal injury.

The neighboring house is “Wind in the Trees,” or the accommodations “Giebelträumchen,” “Heiti’s Koje,” Oktopus, and Sielkiekjes on the other side, should you need more space.

Eilsum is an East Frisian mound village, one of the oldest settlements on the North Sea coast. Discover East Frisia’s historic landscape by bike. Countless, well-marked bike paths lead you through quaint villages, along canals, and hiking trails. Visit the romantic fishing village of Greetsiel or the port city of Emden with its art gallery, museums, the “Otto-Huus,” and much more.

The house is located in a new development area, so unfortunately we cannot rule out occasional noise and dust disturbances.
