The apartment is located in the heart of Cosenza’s historic center, just a short walk from the Rendano Theater and the Cathedral, and a few minutes from Corso Mazzini, home to the Bilotti Open-Air Museum and the city’s shopping district. It takes its name from the 16th-century astrologer Rutilio Benincasa, who is said to have lived in the neighborhood; he was the well-known author of the *Almanacco Perpetuo*, also mentioned in *The Leopard* and *Mastro Don Gesualdo*. The elegantly renovated property consists of one bedroom with a king-size bed and one twin bedroom, both with private bathrooms. In the spirit of hospitality that defines him, Alessandro will be happy to suggest, to guests who are interested, itineraries to discover the area’s historical and artistic treasures and to sample its culinary delights.
