Casa da Olga is a one bedroom cottage with a private traditional courtyard garden with grape vines,flower beds,succulent plants and cacti in pots - a great place for sunbathing on the loungers or eating out and cooking on the barbeque! Sea views can be seen from the garden gate and it's only a short walk to the beach / village center (450 meters), and it's closest well stocked convenience shop is just 200 meters away.
Casa da Olga is certificated member of 'Registo de Alojamento Local', And is proud to display the 'Sintra Inn' plack having been assessed for legal conformity, safety & quality by Sintra Camara Municipal.
Sales tax is included in the price, And a Tax receipt given.
It was completely rebuilt from ruins in 2004 with holiday makers in mind, So all of it's fixtures and fittings were chosen with style, practicality and simplicity in mind making the cottage extremely easy and comfortable to stay in, Including the winter season as it has heating.
The cottage has one double bedroom (double bed, 2 bedside tables with lamps, large wardrobe, chair), a well equipped kitchen, lounge area with HD Digital television, DVD player and great sounding CD / Radio / Ipod docking stereo unit, and Wi-Fi internet connection is available throughout the cottage and courtyard garden.
A good selection of current popular best selling paperback books is also provided, along with maps and local information.
The bathroom has a sink with storage underneath, toilet and shower cubical with abundant water pressure and temperature.
All the bed linen and towels are provided, including kitchen towels. But please do bring your own towels to take to the beach.
In the courtyard there is a large BBQ with all the utensils, 2 sun loungers with padded covers, table and chairs for 2 with umbrella.

The host was great. He was very helpful with suggestions of wear to eat and visit. He even provided a map. Although the weather was not perfect we had a wonderful time. We were within walking distance of beach, restaurants and shops. I would definitely stay here again

We had a wonderful vacation with lots of R&R thanks to our gracious host Ralph and the perfect accommodations at the Lisbon Coast Cottages. With a full kitchen and local markets close by we had breakfast at the cottage most mornings. From the cottage we could easily walk to some beautiful hikes along the coast, gorgeous beaches and great seafood and local restaurants. If you are looking for a place to relax or easy access to the Atlantic coast this is a great option. We took Uber into Sintra a few times which is fast and low cost, with so much to see and do - castles, gardens interesting and varied architecture, shopping and more great restaurant. We hiked from the cottage to Cabo da Roca (note the hike has some challenging decents and the lighthouse is very touristy and windy) the hikes are well marked and easy to navigate. Praia Ursa is worth the work it takes to get there! We also walked to Azenhas do Mar which isn’t that far and has a beautiful (but small) beach. The beaches are clean and sandy. Clear water (but cold - it is the ocean!) The tram wasn’t working but we travelled about the same route via car to Sintra. There are easy access buses throughout (2.60) but I expect it would be hard on the stomach with many switch backs and rough roads. Less than 35 and 45 min to the airport (not during rush hour). Also a shout out to Tiffany for her recommendations and assistance on our check out. It was so nice to meet you! Thank you for a wonderful and relaxing vacation!

Clean, close to the beach and restaurants, and a lovely host.

We feel this property was as described on the web site but the reviews made it appear more attractive than we found it. A hanging rail in the bedroom doesn't constitute a wardrobe. The shower was tiny which we found difficult to manage as we kept getting caught up in the curtain and, therefore, flooded the bathroom. Having said that, the kitchen was well equipped and the property was basic but adequate. We loved the area and the property is only 5 minutes walk from a beautiful beach and lovely restaurants. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.
