The apartment is located on the 4th floor (there is no elevator; you’ll reach it via the living room’s wide staircase) and offers a beautiful view of the city’s traditional rooftops, the river, and its winding streets. There are two double bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an open-concept living room/kitchen. The entire apartment is air-conditioned; every room has air conditioning that works for both cooling and heating, and it was completely renovated in 2022.

Your apartment is located in Baixa-Chiado, one of the most central and popular areas of the city. Just a few steps away, you’ll find yourself by the river, at one of Lisbon’s incredible restaurants, or on the main shopping streets.
The nearest metro station is just a 2-minute walk from the apartment—the blue line at Baixa-Chiado

The only downside to this beautiful apartment in the heart of the tourist district is the five flights of stairs you must walk up to get to it. Once there, the apartment is a wonderful base from which to see Lisbon and enjoy the hospitality of the Portuguese.

Clean bedding and place. Beautiful decor. Centrally located to grocery stores, point of interests, bakeries and restaurants. Pack light because there are lots of stairs to climb before getting to the place. Love the small balcony for people watching.

This property is in the absolute best location. It is located in a pedestrian access only area (so your taxi or uber needs to drop you off on a road over and you walk to the property). There is always something to do on the "strip". Close to the water and restaurants everywhere. You do have to enter the building through a souvenir shop so be aware of that as it can be hard to find. There is 10 flights of stairs up to the unit so bring your muscle but the view is 100% worth it. You need the stairs to walk off all the food you eat though, so it's a win! Due to the age of the building, there was a musky smell in one of the bathrooms so we had to keep the door shut. Everything was clean and the host had the best communication. Would recommend this location if you're physically fit enough to handle the up and down!

The location of this property is excellent --- close to many attractions in Lisbon and easy to walk to most. Plenty of local restaurants and coffee shops to enjoy -- though better to walk away a few blocks to avoid the tourist trap, average food placesThe property was very clean. Air conditioning worked well and was much appreciated during some hot days and nights. However, it was not well stocked -- with minimal supplies in the kitchen (no paper towels, one laundry pod, one dishwasher pod, limited kitchen utensils for cooking). The rooms are also a bit smaller than they appear in the listing photos (not a huge surprise).The single biggest issue to be aware of: while the listing does mention it's on the 4th floor -- with no elevator -- it is not clear that it is 80 stairs up to get to the door. For those of us in our 60s, it was a work out -- for anyone older or with mobility issues, it would be too much. Also -- the stairwell had NO operating lights -- even emergency exit signs - which should be lit 24/7 were not on. This means that after sunset, we had to all turn on lights on cell phones to carefully navigate up 80 steps --it was tiring (after a ling day out exploring), and, frankly dangerous. I brought the stairwell lighting issue to the owner - and they said it was the building owner's responsibility - but they would let them know. It was not resolved during our stay.Communication with the owner was excellent - timely responses and friendly help
