Five minutes to historic downtown Fernie and the Elk River. A short drive to world-renowned Fernie Alpine Resort. This two-bedroom condo puts you right where you want to be, then gives you plenty of reasons to come back: a gas fireplace, a king suite with its own tub and separate shower, and a balcony set in the treetops with its own BBQ. Downstairs, the indoor pool, outdoor hot tub and steam room are waiting.

The door opens beside the kitchen, so groceries go straight from the car to the counter. The breakfast bar has stools for a quick coffee or a snack while someone cooks. It's a full kitchen with a fridge, stove and oven, microwave, coffee brewer, kettle and toaster. It's stocked with oil, salt, pepper and locally roasted coffee beans, and there's cutlery and tableware for four.

Past the kitchen, the living area opens up. A dining table seats four and doubles as a spot to work. Beyond it, the gas fireplace sets the tone for the whole room, with a sofa and armchair gathered around it and a wall-mounted TV.

A glass door beside the fireplace opens onto the balcony, which sits right in the branches of a big shade tree. There's seating for two and a natural gas BBQ, so grilling dinner never means leaving the condo.

A hallway leads off the living area to the bedrooms. The stacked washer and dryer are tucked into a closet along the way, so you can pack lighter. The king bedroom is the one to claim. It has double closets and its own en-suite with a deep soaking tub, a separate stand-up shower and built-in shelving. The queen bedroom has a mirrored closet and a window to wake up to. The second full bathroom, with a tub and shower combo, is just down the hall, so nobody has to wait their turn. Both bathrooms are stocked with locally made hand soap and 2-in-1 body wash.

The condo will be entirely yours during your stay. As a Silver Rock guest, you'll also have access to the building's pool (open as early as 6am), hot tub, steam room, and small gym, plus underground parking and a ski locker (bring your own lock - or reach out and rent one from us). Please note, the communal areas at Silver Rock are all subject to closures at any time, sometimes without notice, due to various circumstances.

Once your stay is confirmed, we'll email you a secure link to your personalised StayIn guest guide, which sits outside of Vrbo. It has your check-in and check-out details, reservation, parking and property info, plus the option to accept or decline our damage waiver (see below). The code will be visible five minutes before your scheduled check-in time. If you won’t have internet access at check-in, please message us in advance so we can make other arrangements.

Accidents happen, right? Upgrade your Vrbo coverage with our optional damage waiver. For a small fee, you're covered for up to CA$1,000 in accidental damage, like lost keys, broken dishes, stains and scuffs. Opt in or out via your StayIn guest guide. If you skip it, you're responsible for any damage. It doesn't cover damage caused by any animal, intentional damage, negligence or extra cleaning.
