Right on Trout Creek, this historic cabin is in the middle of a working horse ranch. We raise Marchador horses as well as much of the food we eat. In season, you can collect eggs for your breakfast and fresh milk & cream is often available. Bring your fishing license! Trout Creek has earned her name. Plenty of hiking and mountain biking trails! Quiet beauty in the Montana mountains.
Full kitchen with a double oven as well as microwave. Coffee maker. Lots of other foodie sorts of things.
Trout Creek Canyon is a spectacular and easy trail, about three miles one way. We often see mountain goats high on the canyon walls.
There are very few lights at night so stargazers can have their fill of night skies that are filled with stars and the Milky Way arches high over head.

The cabin was lovely! The hosts were very nice and helpful. Even though it rained for most of our stay( a very much needed rain for the area), we were able to fish the creek and my husband was as happy as can be with his catch! We enjoyed watching the horses, cows, geese, peacocks, cat, dogs, and assorted wild animals on the working horse farm. We had s marvelous time!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and could not have asked for a better Montana experience! The property was peaceful, beautiful, and exactly what we were hoping for—a perfect place to relax, unplug, and enjoy the incredible scenery.The cabin was comfortable, and well-equipped with everything we needed. One of our favorite parts of the stay was the peaceful stream behind the cabin. Falling asleep each night to the sound of the flowing water was incredibly relaxing and made it easy to leave the stresses of everyday life behind.The horses were absolutely wonderful and such a special part of the experience. It was clear they are well-loved and cared for, and we enjoyed seeing them throughout our stay. The friendly dogs, fresh eggs, and welcoming atmosphere made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived.The Montana night sky was truly breathtaking. With very little light pollution, the stars seemed endless, and spending evenings under the vast Big Sky was something we will never forget.The hosts were incredibly kind, welcoming, and thoughtful, and it is clear how much care they put into creating a memorable experience for their guests.If you're looking for authentic Montana charm, peaceful surroundings, beautiful animals, and a place to truly reconnect with nature, this is it. We are so grateful for our time here and would absolutely stay again.Thank you for sharing your little slice of Montana with us—it was a trip we'll remember for years to come.

This place is a gem! It's surrounded by mountains, livestock and wildlife. We enjoyed our anniversary stay in this quaint little cabin, and we highly recommend it as a place to visit!
