The updated kitchen offers a great space for cooking gourmet meals, with enough room for everyone to dine together. You will enjoy laid-back evenings sitting on the screened porch off the living room, also accessible from two of the bedrooms. You will love both the ocean side and the street side covered porches. We had no problems staying here last year but this year was a different story. We had no hot water but Chris from Maintenance was prompt to look at the tank. He said he would let the owner know that it was either the elements or thermostat and that he would contact us the next day regarding service. He got it working enough that if we staggered showers (3 of us) it stayed hot. Then the freezer thawed and intermittently froze back. Luckily we lost no food. Then the fire alarm started going off intermittently. Good location but frustrating situation this year.

Excellent location and size for our annual girls trip. This was the first trip to Holden Beach for all of us and we were all favorably impressed! The only thing that was a negative was that at all of our stays in FL or Hilton Head beaches, the linens were provided and sheets on the beds and beach chairs were available where this is not the case with this rental!

A very nice house in a private, gated community. We enjoyed a quiet, week-long vacation with another couple. The house was clean, the kitchen very well appointed (we did a lot of cooking), plenty of room inside and outside on the decks/porches, and the beach was beautiful. --- The back deck furniture was sturdy and comfortable, with some of it under an overhang, so we could enjoy afternoons outside. Other than a few minor housekeeping items which I reported via email, all was well! Great place!
