STUNNING LAKEFRONT RETREAT! Beautiful Lake Antioch. Beautiful large kitchen / gathering area equipped with stainless appliances, granite counter tops and cherry cabinets. Watch beautiful sunsets from your spacious 20×40 deck with luxurious resort style furniture. Enjoy the private beach area and pier, two Kayaks and a paddleboat. You'll have outstanding fishing and swimming. Walking distance to town and the best restaurants and bars, live music and concerts in the park. Winter months offer the best ice fishing around, snowmobiling, and Wilmot/Vail ski resort only 15 min drive. 4500 sq ft.
This home lacks for nothing. Six + seat lower level bar, (former bar from the world famous Cubby Bear in Chicago), full size Brunswick pool table, 50 inch TV, full size fridge, dishwasher, full bathroom and plenty of seating and gathering room.
The main floor boasts a wide open floor plan with a 55 inch TV, stone gas fireplace, plenty of seating, dining room that seats 8, large granite kitchen counters, and a wetbar. There's also a beautiful four season sun room with floor to ceiling windows/sliding doors that can be opened up to give the room an open porch feel. There's a giant foyer entrance, a powder room and a large mud room where shoes and coats and gear can be kept. There's also a spacious laundry room with a full size washer and dryer.
Upstairs are four roomy bedrooms and two full baths. The master suite has large windows with lake views, a stone gas fireplace, a 40 inch TV, and a large bathroom with double sinks and huge walk in shower! Two of the other three bedrooms have magnificent lake views. The third full bathroom has double sinks also.
The lower level has a beautiful bar that includes a full size fridge, dishwasher, sink and tons of bar space, counter space, cabinets and a great view of the lake. There's also a full size Brunswick pool table, Couches, 50'' TV, day bed that sleeps two and a full bath!
In the warmer months there is a pier on beautiful Lake Antioch with cozy adirondack chairs perfect for fishing, or enjoying a cold beer or glass of wine. The new firepit is great for evening gatherings.
The huge 20x40 deck has a spectacular view over the lake and is perfect for relaxing outside or even hosting a game of corn hole!

The house was amazing as listed. We enjoyed our 2 night stay. Had everything we needed and more. Close to restaurants and stores. And not too far from Six Flags and Gurnee Mills. Thank you.

This is a great property on a lovely, quiet lake. It was just what we were looking for. We needed a property big enough for 10 people, that could accommodate people from 78 to 16. This house fit that bill. Be aware that someone with mobility issues may struggle. My dad has a hard time with stairs. He was able to enter the main floor of the house, which has a family room, the kitchen, a half bath, an office, a large deck, and a delightful sunroom (best room in the house), but it was hard for him to get to the game room and bar in the basement, the lake and fire pit outside the basement door, and the bedrooms upstairs. He spent almost all of his time on the main floor, and the rest of us took turns staying with him so he didn't feel left out.The pedal boats and kayaks were fabulous. The lake is soooooo quiet and peaceful, so we were able to kayak all the way around. My son was even able to fish from a kayak. Fishing from the dock was the highlight of the trip.The house is lovely, but it didn't have some of the things some Vrbo houses have so remember to bring them. The supplies in the kitchen were pretty basic. We had to run out and get these things: salt, pepper, laundry soap, Kleenex, Saran wrap, aluminum foil, storage containers, a colander, measuring cups, measuring spoons, and Ziplock bags. Definitely not a deal breaker, but these are things other homes have provided so we didn't bring them but wished we had.Wonderful house. Thanks for a great time!

This is a great property. We loved staying here. My kids took the paddle boat out for a spin and had fun. My son and I played pool both nights. Great place to relax and enjoy the area. Beautiful sunsets. George was very helpful when we had issues getting into the home and came as soon as he could to help. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. We love the home. Thank you for sharing your home with my family.

This place was amazing. It was the first place we stayed where we actually caught fish, even the kids were catching a lot. The rooms were very spacious & lots of gathering places to accommodate everyone. It is shallow pretty far out so that's also nice for kids/ safety. The host gave us a lot of great tips on food & activities. Downtown was cute, I wouldn't say you could walk with kids unless there was a path we didn't find but it is close. Overall this is a great area, lots to do & the lake was perfect size & great fishing.
