This remodeled large 4 bedroom is set to exceed your expectations as a vacation renter. The home is fully stocked with everything you need, and our upgrades will delight guests of all ages. The kitchen features a gourmet gas range and anything you need to prepare a wonderful meal as a group. Enjoy the real wood fireplace after a day out in the mountains of Tahoe and unwind with your friends or family. The home provides privacy for the group allowing for a bedroom suite above the garage set up in its own wing of the home. The rest of the home is spread out with comfort in mind.

Prepare for mountain or winter weather driving in winter months. This may mean Four wheel drive with snow tires or chains. Check weather or road reports. AWD and 4WD necessary to get up the mountain roads and some driveways in the winter months.

Downtown Tahoe City with an abundance of great restaurants, shopping, coffee shops, etc. Take a stroll down the river path (bike and stroller friendly) with miles of comfortable walking or biking alongside the Truckee River, and past Lake Tahoe. Commons Beach in downtown Tahoe City has a large playground great for kids, grassy lawn, and beach area for relaxing and taking in the sights of the lake and surrounding mountains. Miles of easily accessible paved bike/hiking trails minutes from your front door. Up for some adventure, try the river rafting down the Truckee River. In the winter months, the closest ski resorts include Granlibakken Resort, Homewood Mountain, Palisades Tahoe, Alpine Meadows, and Northstar. We had a lovely stay. A good location and plenty of room for our family. The kitchen was well appointed, and we appreciated the second refrigerator in the garage.
The plates/dishes were a little hard to work with - they were so heavy that it unbalanced the dishwasher. I think some lighter plates, and adding scrubbing items so visitors can really clean the pots and pans would help. We went out and purchased our own.
We had a mouse issue but you took care of that for us.

Great location with convenient access to Palisades and Tahoe City restaurants, grocery store and shops. Home was clean, beds were very comfortable kitchen was well equipped and the hot tub was a bonus.

Overall a lovely Tahoe cabin! Comfortable beds and a great location. There were some weird things about the VRBO, however. The dishwasher was broken and a lot of the plates and kitchen items were very dirty. There were no toiletries or soaps in the bathrooms. Other than the kitchen, the house was very clean.

We had a lovely stay at the Sequoia log cabin. Our group was two families of 4 (kids ages 8, 6, 5, 3). The rooms and beds were comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed. We were snowed in for a few days during a big storm and there were guys that came by each day to clear the deck and hot tub which was wonderful. We’d definitely stay again!
