It is ideally situated for single travellers or couples wanting to explore the beautiful countryside and visit the many local attractions. A dedicated broadband connection and quiet surroundings also make The Starting Gate an ideal base for those on a business trip in the area.
As we run a private, well equipped competition stable yard it is also possible to bring your horse with you subject to appropriate arrangements. There is access to plenty of off road and quiet lane hacking and there are excellent competition venues close by.

This is an immaculate apartment - spotlessly clean and finished to a very high standard. It's well within reach of charming small towns and slightly further afield, the bigger towns of Bath, Bristol and Wells. The hosts couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. I'd thoroughly recommend this apartment to family and friends and my husband and I hope to return very soon.

We loved everything about this property. The location, high standard of furnishing and cleanliness. We were made to feel very welcome by the host and felt at home straightaway. Would highly recommend and happily return in the future.
