Get ready to make a lifetime of memories at "Gardner" at the Ocean Dunes Resort, located on the south end of Kure Beach. This is truly the perfect year-round vacation spot for families, and our most popular vacation destination.
"Gardner" is a 2 bedroom, 2nd floor oceanfront condo perfect for a family of 6. The street-side bedroom features two Twin beds and the primary bedroom is oceanfront with a Queen bed. The living area (with a Full sleeper sofa) faces the ocean with great views of the Atlantic.
Ocean Dunes is an ideal year-round vacation spot for families! Located at the southern end of Pleasure Island, in Kure Beach next to Historic Fort Fisher, Ocean Dunes occupies one mile of beachfront with several private beach walkways. Included with your reservation is access to all the amenities Ocean Dunes offers, as well as the Recreation Center. Amenities include three outdoor pools, a children's playground, and cornhole. The Recreation Center has an indoor pool, whirlpool/spa, gym, saunas, and showers.
*Please keep in mind that if you are renting a property with a pool during the off-season, it may not be open or available. Pools are usually open from mid- May to September, but dates can vary based on weather, permits, HOA guidelines, inspections, improvements, and unforeseen events. For more detailed information on specific pools, please feel free to contact our office.

Stay Requirements: Sunday to Sunday rental in Summer. Minimum two night stay other seasons.
Bedding Configuration: 1 Queen, 2 Twins, 1 Sofa Bed
Parking: TWO parking passes are included with reservation. No Electric Vehicles, bicycles, or golf carts with lithium ion or lithium ion type batteries can be parked or charged under the buildings or building structure.
Pet Policy: No pets allowed
Prohibited: Boat Trailers, Smoking, RV’s, Boats, Pets, Charging Golf Carts, Mail and Packages are not able to be sent to the rental.
Featured Amenities: Community Pool - Indoor and Outdoor,, Tennis Court, Hot Tub, Basketball Court, a Children’s Playground, Cornhole, Fitness Room, Sauna, Private Beach Access, Ocean Front
Community Surveillance: The HOA has surveillance cameras around the complexes outdoor amenities including the pools for safety and security of the common spaces.
Cancellation Policy: Full refund within 24 hours of booking, cancellations at 31+ days before check-in will receive a full refund after a $350 cancellation fee is deducted, cancellations at 15-30 days before check-in will receive a 50% refund of monies paid less a $350 cancellation fee and less than 15 days prior to arrival is not subject to a refund. All policies are subject to possible additional refund based on re-rental, excluding non-refundable cancellation fees and travel insurance (if applicable).
Bryant Real Estate, established in 1952, is a professionally operated firm that is licensed in North Carolina and hired by the property owner to manage “K009 – Gardner” as a vacation rental.

Everything was great. An observation that I will pass along is that the plates and glasswear number was very low. It was fine for just me and my wife, but if others had been with us this would have been a larger issue.

The room was nice, however the mattress is the master bedroom was like trying to sleep on a board with lumps in it. I did call the host but never heard back from them so we endured. The location was wonderful and my family had a great time and made a lot of memories. Just wish we could have slept better.

The good first. The location is in Kure away from some of the crowds which is nice. The unit is right on the beach, no real dune to speak of. The unit is obviously older, but it has been updated for the most part. There is some wear and tear here and there, but not a big deal. The freezer ice maker made tons of ice every day so no need to go buy a bag. You could probably also park 3 cars if you squeezed in. Now the negatives. The bed in the master was listed as a queen but was actually a full. It was also very firm which was unfortunate for us since we prefer soft beds. There were no door locks on the master bedroom or bathroom or the guest bedroom. The only interior door that locked was the guest bath. The AC didn't work well in the guest bedroom but there was a large box fan that helped. This has been reported to the management company so I would expect it to be fixed for future guests. There is no outside shower, just a hose connection. The hose for our unit was old and shriveled shut so we had to use the neighbors hose.All in all it was a good unit. If it weren't for the bed size and door locks, I would overlook everything else since they're minor concerns.

Could not access stairs to carry in our luggage for 3 hours upon arrival due to vehicles blocking sides of stairs. Called Bryant Real Estate the next morning and they said we should have called a tow truck....unreal.
