With a simple and contemporary decoration designed for the comfort and well-being of guests, this apartment gathers all the facilities to enjoy a beautiful holiday in Madeira Island, whether for work or leisure.
The apartment features a balcony, a living area, a TV with cable channels, and a well-equipped open-plan kitchen with a dining area. The bedroom has a double bed and a private bathroom with a shower cubicle. The property accommodates two adults and one child (maximum), with a sofa bed for one person in the living room. The balcony is accessed through the living area, perfect for enjoying a meal al fresco. The building has a common entrance and is located on Rua da Alegria, near the Plaza Madeira Shopping Centre. Wi-Fi is available in all areas. Please note, the building has stairs and no private parking.

Located in Funchal city center, the building offers easy access to downtown and main points of interest, including restaurants, shopping centres, bars, museums, the Cathedral of Funchal, Funchal Municipal Garden, Funchal Marina, and the Municipal Theatre. The city center provides plenty of information about cultural, adventure, and nature-related activities for your stay.
PROPERTY RULES
To ensure a pleasant stay for everyone, we ask that you observe a few simple rules.
• Smoking is not permitted inside the property. A fine of €300 will be charged for non-compliance.
• Parties or events are not permitted.
• Pets are not permitted.
• Please be considerate of your neighbours and keep noise levels down, especially at night.
The property may be equipped with a smart sensor (Minut) that monitors noise, smoke and temperature levels, solely for safety reasons. This system does not record conversations or collect personal data. Should abnormal levels be detected, a member of our team may contact you. You are not permitted to disable, cover or tamper this or any other equipment installed on the property.
In accordance with Portuguese law, all guests must present valid identification for registration purposes.
Municipal tourist tax (when applicable):
€2.00 per person/night for guests aged 13 and above, up to a maximum of 7 nights (€14.00 per person per stay). A payment link will be sent prior to arrival.
Check-in must be scheduled in advance. If it is not arranged at least 48 hours beforehand, check-in will be subject to our team’s availability.
Check-in: from 16:00 | Check-out: by 12:00
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and an additional charge.
By confirming your reservation, all guests agree to our house rules and accommodation conditions.
OTHER NOTES
All bed linen and towels are provided. We can also provide, free of charge, a baby travel crib, high chair and baby bath upon request before check-in. Requests made less than 48 hours before arrival may be subject to an additional fee. All properties are equipped with a first aid kit, fire extinguishers and a fire blanket.
For stays of 8 nights or more, a mid-stay service is provided, including the replenishment of bed linen, towels and consumables only. This service is not included for shorter stays. Additional cleaning services during your stay are available on request at an extra charge.

Surpassed expectations. We had one concern which was the other reviews saying the “shower leaks.” It doesn’t leak. The water pressure is so powerful that it actually pushes the shower head to a position that it will shoot over the top of the shower and out on the floor. We just hung a washcloth on the shower head and its weight held it in position. It does get a little warm without AC for those that are used to it but they do have a ceiling fan in the living room and two addition tower fans than can be placed. If you open by the back sliding door and the bedroom windows you get a very nice breeze. The only thing I could really say wasn’t amazing would be how loud the establishment across the street can get in the morning. They have an outdoor eating area and the way the road goes between two rather tall rows of building kind of amplifies the sounds. I also noticed some other people complaining about dilapidated buildings being in view. Yes, there are buildings that are unoccupied and have structural damage. If that bothers you, don’t go to Madeira, they’re scattered everywhere. The island is a mountain so pockets of property are stuck all over the place and some homes have been unoccupied for decades. Other than that, it is an awesome apartment. Within a walking distance of a lot of restaurants, museums, and public transport. 10/10

Great accomodation with a very nice location for exploring Funchal.
Shops, parking, main promenade are just in few minutes walking distance. Apartments are well equipped and easy to access. Lovely terrace to have dinner.
There are few things to improve that are easy to do:
1) Bathroom blinds are a bit transparent IMO should be more solid/private.
2) Nasty door-stopper right in the middle of the way from one of the bed's sides. Beware of it because it can hurt your toes really bad

Overall the appartment was great. The only downside is that it becomes very warm during the day (even with all windows and curtains closed) and is really difficult to get it to cool down during the evening/night. Plus it seems like the curtain in the bathroom are very see-through, especially when its dark outside and you have to lights on in the bathroom, which makes it kind of uncomfortable to take a shower.
Other than that, the apartment has all the facilities you might need during your stay and is very comfortable and roomy. Location is perfect, with a cheap parking (parque 2000), a mall with supermarket and city heart close by.
