We loved the cabin. It was extremely clean, the kitchen was very well equipped, and we had everything we needed. Sheila is a great host and she’s thought of everything. We particularly enjoyed the BBQ, eating on the balcony every evening, and watching hundreds of birds right in front of us. We loved it here. We’ll definitely go back.

The host was wonderful and very supportive during our stay however there were a few things my party felt should have been disclosed before or upon booking that may have had a larger impact on others than it did for us. The cabin while advertised as private, is only the upper floor and loft while the host remains on the premises in the lower floor during your stay. While this may not be a big deal for some parties, I would have liked to have known in advance. The appliances were not quite in working condition and there was a quite prevalent ladybug infestation within the cabin. The ladybugs were throughout the entirety of the cabin including kitchen, bedrooms, living spaces and especially on windows. Overall the trip was nice but these aspects of the house detracted from the complete experience.

Sheila was an absolutely amazing host. She was so kind, empathetic and caring. Very easy to get ahold of if anything was needed or if we had any questions. The.Cabin.Was. BEAUTIFUL! When you enter in, light filters in from the many windows, and the unique and personal touches from the pictures to the decorations made the cabin feel so cozy. There are multiple places to relax be it the sofa, the lazyboy or the comforrable chair at the top of the steps. You get a beautiful view from so many angles of the cabin its amazing. Cabin has wonderful soundproofing and you can feel like you really relax. Me and my partner enjoyed watching the birds outside and waking up to the view of beautiful snow dusted trees. Ample kitchen space to make meals and the pans and pots Shiela provides are high quality. Extra blankets and heaters are provided in case of those cold nights. Shiela also gave us great recommendations to check out around town. Overrall, we had an amazing trip and would love to visit again. Thank you Shiela!!

Great host personality. Smell of layers of baked on bacon grease in the oven was always noticeable. Otherwise clean. In a very cold, snowy December, the programmed radiant heat could not keep up. A shovel was available for us. When we contacted host, she always was apologetic.
