This house, while we had a great week, needs some tlc. Decking and steps need to be replaced in many spots. Sand is all over the steps and deck out by the beach, this is challenging for people with disabilities. Consider clearing this off each year to match the pictures that are posted. The door exiting the pool to the ocean does not latch as it is sagging. The pool had sand in it on arrival and was never serviced despite many requests to the real estate company. Outdoor showers were not used as they had a lot 'yuck' on the floor and pool noodles, goggles, plastic bag, etc in them. The 3rd floor, social quarters stays warmer and there are signs to not turn the thermostat below 70 degrees. This seems unreasonable for summertime heat, while the lower floors this is acceptable. The refrigerator door does not dispense ice- cubes or crushed. Pictures of the inside need to be updated on Vrbo as the furniture has changed for the positive. Beautiful view of the ocean and nice to not be crowded on the beach since this house is not near a public beach access. Quieter part of the OBX! July 4th Fireworks were excellent as you could see fireworks in Manteo, on Jeannette's Pier and Outer Banks Fishing Pier and all others being set off.

The house was clean and big! Plenty of room for 12 of us. Really close to the beach! Beautiful sunrises every morning. I rented wagons to carry items to the beach, but there were too many stairs to use them. Overall would stay here again!
