We had a great time staying in this property for 4 days 3 nights. The view facing an inlet of the Lake Tuscaloosa is gorgeous . Amanda is very responsive and went out of way to satisfied our request. We mentioned if the property has Nespresso machine. Amanda responded with apology that the property does not have Nespresso. But next thing you know she ordered a Nespresso and delivered before we check in. That kind of service speaks volume of her dedication. I will give both property and Amanda two thumbs up.

This is the second time we have stayed at Lake Haven for a retreat, and it is a great environment for getting work done while having some fun and enjoying a beautiful view. Amanda is very accommodating and worked with our special requests.

The house was immaculate and well provisioned. We had plenty of room and a great view of the lake.

Maybe it’s just me but for twenty-five hundred dollars a night, I’d like to be able to go out on the lake with more than one person. Having two watercraft available for a house that sleeps 15 seems silly. The trek needed to get to the water was quite formidable, unfortunately, with 50 stair steps, so that was disappointing. I booked the property because of the lake and all we really got was a view of the other side of the inlet and a partial lake view off to the side (the picture in the listing is taken from the dock, not the house - deceptive). Not what I had pictured. The screened-in porch was lovely. The house was clean. The game room was nice. The beds were all comfy. I’m just disappointed that I paid so much to be on a lake only to not get the benefit of it.
