You won't have to go far for great food and drinks, since the waterfront restaurant Salt & Cypress is conveniently located on-site.

Be sure to set aside a day or two to explore Downtown Manteo, truly a hidden gem of the Outer Banks. Browse an eclectic array of unique, locally owned businesses including boutiques, galleries and eateries. Walk to the Roanoke Marshes Lighthouse for a trip back in time, or cross the bridge over to Roanoke Island Festival Park where you'll find The Pavilion Outdoor Theatre, a live-entertainment venue with lawn-style amphitheater seating that hosts concerts and festivals throughout the year.
