Your best choice in Merida! Equipped and compact en-suite studio (20 sq. m./215 sq. ft.), just .9 miles (18 min. walk) from Merida’s central square and historical cathedral. It comes with Netflix!, a kitchenette, flat TV, high-speed internet, amenities, etc. You’ll get access to the plunge pool, patio, and lobby, which are shared common spaces with other two similar units. Free street/parking place, just ask about availability.
The studio apartment is located in a one-story house. It has a double-size bed. It also has space and hangers for one hammock (please set your reservation according to the exact number of guests). It has a kitchenette with kitchenware, a microwave, a fridge, and an induction stove. There are chairs and a wardrobe for you to use. Other items are air conditioning, flat TV, high-speed WiFi, iron, and a crib upon request. Anything you need, let your hosts know!
You can access the lobby, the plunge pool, and the backyard which are shared areas to all the studio apartments.

The real stars of this place are Rosa and Ismael - who own the four rental units and live on sight. Rosa and Ismael were an absolute delight and we developed an easy friendship, with Rosa practicing her English with me and I learning some Spanish and the history of the yucatan state.
The garden is lovely and the plunge pool is kept immaculate.A common issue for Merida is mosquitos and unfortunately they love me. So mosquito spray is a necessity. . My unit was adequate for my needs and was cleaned weekly. I enjoyed my month in Merida, the convenience of the local laundry across the way, and the delicious panuchos and street food that was available an easy walk from the residence.
