Tucked away on 700 acres in the stunning Upper Kangaroo River region, Yeola offers total privacy and breathtaking natural surroundings. With expansive lawns, dramatic escarpment views, and access to some of the Kangaroo River’s best swimming holes (home to a resident platypus), Yeola is perfect for a peaceful getaway. It's also just a short bushwalk to the beautiful Minnehaha Falls.
This spacious property features six bedrooms, including an upstairs air-conditioned master with sweeping views of the surrounding mountains. Please note that the loft bedroom with a single bed and double sofa bed is open plan and not fully private.

Important Access Information:
Access to Yeola is via a combination of sealed and unsealed roads, with some rough sections. While suitable for standard 2WD vehicles, we don’t recommend low-clearance or small cars. Please drive with care.
Strictly no additional guests unless permission is granted in advance. A security camera does monitor the driveway accessing the property.

Great for our celebratory family occasion. A very relaxing location. The access road was challenging. Definitely best in a four wheel drive. Lovely log fires and plenty of wood for the fires. Some of the heaters in individual rooms did not seem to work. Perhaps the power supply. All in all a great family holiday.

On balance our stay was fantastic and I would recommend it to other friends.
Two issues that arose for us however -
1. The printed instructions from Kangaroo Valley Getaways were not accurate. They state that the property is approx. 14.5km along Upper Kangaroo River Road from the junction with Kangaroo Valley Road. It is more like 17.5km.
Given that it is a rough & winding road, with numerous causeways, side-roads and gates, there were a few times we considered turning back, assuming we had gone too far, so it was annoying to not have accurate mileage. Also a couple of our group were arriving in the dark which added an additional delay for them.
2. Also, we were not given any Wifi code from KVG, nor was it listed in any house notes, so we were initially unable to access the internet. Some time later and just by chance, due to a previous guest having scribbled it down on the corner of a random piece of paper, we gave it a try and got it to work.
Hopefully this feedback will be helpful for future guests.
PS My delay in giving you this feedback is because I have been away overseas since our getaway.
