Crow's Nest — a four-level, treehouse-style retreat above the treetops, 24 miles from downtown Leavenworth. Sleeps 4.
Tucked into a private forest above Lake Wenatchee, the Crow's Nest is the treehouse you dreamed about as a kid — grown up, and with a view you won't forget. Four levels of compact, thoughtfully detailed rooms climb up into the trees, and the moment you step onto the deck and look out over the treetops to the mountains and surrounding forest, the name makes perfect sense. It's quiet, serene, and genuinely private — that deep-in-the-woods feeling with all the modern comforts of an easy family getaway. The full kitchen has all the major appliances plus a BBQ, so meals are simple whether you're cooking in or grilling out while the kids explore and climb trees. When everyone's ready to slow down, the sitting room has satellite TV and board games for a cozy evening in.
SLEEPING (sleeps 4, including infants and children):
Master bedroom — Queen bed
Second bedroom — Double bed
Third bedroom — Two fold-out sleeping chairs (a flexible bonus space for kids or lounging)
The queen and double sleep all four guests, so occupancy is capped at 4.

WINTER ACCESS:
The access road is steep and winter conditions change quickly. When snow or ice is present, a high-clearance AWD/4WD vehicle is required, and we strongly recommend carrying snow chains or cables and knowing how to install them. Plow drivers do their best, but access to and from the home can still be challenging, so please plan accordingly. Love Leavenworth is not responsible for any towing charges.
HOUSE RULES:
No smoking. No pets. No events. Guests must be 25 or older to reserve (unless the guest has at least three positive reviews). STR Permit #290.
If you're visiting in the winter or summer months, we highly recommend purchasing travel insurance. The weather can be unpredictable during these seasons, and we hold firm to our cancellation policy.

The cabin is an interesting property with kind of a rustic feel with an Asian flare. You can see the lake through the trees. Lots of windows. The listing said no air conditioning but there was one on level 2 and 3. It was very clean throughout. Beautiful area close to Lake Wenatchee and Fish Lake. The recreational area of Lake Wenatchee has a beach and playground and great photo opportunities. We went there near sunset and I got some amazing pics of my teenager there! Our host was amazing., polite, and responsive. Easy access and great communication. The kitchen is a bit dated and very small, but it served its purpose. Bring the spices/condiments you need and your preferred food storage containers, plastic wrap, foil, etc. there was only salt and pepper and no food storage options. My kid cooked dinner from scratch all 3 nights! Great WiFi with quick QR code connection. A LOT of stairs. Down 3 flights and across the platforms from where you park (they are covered and well lit at night) get to the front door to enter the main living space on level 3 (kitchen, dining, living and bathroom). The cabin has 4 levels with 2 flights of stairs separating each. Hauling gear in and out of the cabin was a bit of a workout but we didn’t mind. Overall, this is a cool place to stay. we were comfortable, discovered a few things we would like to explore next time and we had an awesome time.

While on a lengthy road trip to celebrate our anniversary, we stayed at The Crow's Nest for a couple of nights. Such a treat!Our focus for this part of the trip was seeing Leavenworth; it's about a half hour away and is a fun tourist destination. The only real hiccup was at check in, the code to the electronic lock wasn't working right, but a quick phone call solved that.The solitude; the peace and quiet made for a restful stay, I think the loudest noise I heard the whole time there was a blue jay who seemed to think he owned the place.The kitchen has everything one needs to cook and serve meals- that's good as the nearest restaurant is a fair bit away. If the skies are clear, don't forget to look up- there is practically zero light pollution and the sheer number of visible stars is incredible.
