A true haven of peace, nestled in a setting of calm and greenery, Roquefort les pins is located in the immediate vicinity of the magnificent village of Valbonne 5 minutes, approximately 35 minutes from the star city of Cannes, 15 minutes from the beaches of Cagnes sur mer and Villeneuve Loubert, 35 minutes from Nice.
Very sunny villa, very comfortable and particularly warm, ideal for holidays with family or friends. The house faces south and benefits from a magnificent new swimming pool with Bali tiles measuring 10m x 5 m and a spacious terrace for relaxing in the sun.
Ping pong table and hiking bikes available.
The living spaces have HIGH CEILINGS of 3m20, PARQUET FLOORS, large terraces which are very pleasant to live in.
The villa has a beautiful, bright and sunny terrace outside with a large swimming pool, 4 sun loungers, and a large Balinese bed, an outdoor space for dinner or lunch. the villa is completely closed and secured by a large electric gate. Car parking space for 3 or 4 vehicles. Ping pong table .
The villa benefits from a very green natural environment and numerous connections to nature for beautiful hikes by bike and on foot (bike rental and grocery stores and bakeries at the bottom of the villa) no grass garden for your doggies, however they are welcome and can frolic on the terrace area and in the very large parking lot at the closed entrance!

This property has a lot of potential and really is a “charming house”. The outside area is a great space. The daytimes were great with the pool being well looked after and perfect size and depth. Location is great to explore France, half hour to Cannes, Antibes, and nice so felt pretty central to see it all. We even drove 50 mins on last day to spend time in Monaco. Valbonne is just 10 mins away which is also a beautiful little village. You will likely need a car to explore from here because it is remote area, and would be difficult to organise taxis. Unfortunately a few things I believe the property needs to address. The bathrooms, although it’s 3 bathrooms, there are only 2 toilets, with one toilet not having a lock and very small, you can actually see in the one from the landing, which isn’t ideal with older children who need privacy. I believe there should be a toilet in each bathroom. The bathrooms also could be cleaner, all the bathrooms could be modernised and really needed a deep clean but they didn’t feel particularly hygienic, these really let the property down. The kitchen area, although a large space, had some worn areas and again not particularly clean. This felt like it needed a good deep clean, with a bit of modernising. Utensils could be updated. Overall a fun stay, but some areas in the property could improve to make this even better, a deep clean and some slight changes will transform this stay. Daniel was helpful throughout and a good host.

We had a wonderful stay at this lovely house. We definitely see the potential of the house (rooms were big, whole house was light and spacious) and we felt the ‘vibe’ (Ibiza meets Mykonos) but we couldn’t help thinking the house and its garden could use some TLC (maintenance, repairing and tossing away old stuff 😉)
Having that said; we were welcomed warmly by Carole and partner and had a great stay.
