The Resort at Gulf Shores Plantation
Come visit our family friendly resort. Walk our large beautiful sugar white beach with natural sand dunes and sea oats. Hear the sound of the waves and the call of the sea birds. Enjoy the sparkling blue gulf water and the dolphins swimming off our shore. No streets to cross. Condos are angled toward the beach and a short walk through the dunes brings you to our beach.
Whether you bring your book to read or your kite to fly, our wide, sun drenched beach is the perfect place to spend time. Families and couples will find the Resort at Gulf Shores the perfect get-away for a vacation. Snow birds find this a perfect place to escape the long winter with many activities, mild weather, indoor pool and great food.
We have a gated community with 24 hour on-site security. Our second floor two bedroom, two bath unit is cute, clean, and comfortable. The fully equipped kitchen sports white cabinets, appliances, and counter tops that complement our beach décor.
There is a queen size bed in each bedroom with a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. There are two flat screen televisions with cable.
A wet bar is located off the kitchen. Linens are provided with the unit; bring your own beach towels. Towels are provide once not replaced daily. Washers and dryers are right down the hall. Outdoor barbecue grills are available throughout the complex.
WIFI is available in the condo. There are six pools and an indoor pool that makes swimming available year-round. Our unit is very close to two of the outdoor pools and the indoor pool. Indoor and outdoor spas, lighted tennis courts, a new Pickleball Court, exercise room, sauna, putting green, horseshoe pits, basketball court, and shuffleboard round out a list of activities available at the Resort.
For those who like their food really fresh, fishing off the beach or in Mobile Bay located directly across from the Resort’s entrance may provide you with dinner. Depending on the time of year, there are canoes, jet skis, parasailing, and beach rentals. World-class Kiva Dunes Golf Course is next door along with their Clubhouse Grille. Kiva Dunes is a nationally ranked golf course. Sassy Bass is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner located at the bottom of the high rise. It has a new outdoor bar and seating area.
A short drive provides a variety of seafood and steak restaurants, Tanger Outlet Shopping Mall, OWA amusement park and their indoor water park, Waterville Water Park in the summer in town, Putt Putt, go carts, Deep Sea Fishing, and many more golf courses such as Arnold Palmer’s Cotton Creek. History buffs might want to tour Fort Morgan just down the road. As you can see, your stay at the Resort can be laid back and relaxing or activity filled and energizing. The choice is yours

Cozy and close to the beach and pools. If you park by the ramp and go up the stairs it’s first room to the right. Up the elevator it’s to your left. The 21 and older pool is the 1st pool closest to the room and next to that is the ramp to the beach. On that ramp is the walkway to the pool thats great for young kids. It starts at 1ft then gradually goes to 5 ft. You can take a little walk on the other end of the property next to the taller building, there’s a nice pool that’s deeper. Also on that side is the Sassy Bass restaurant you can order or eat there. Property is well kept and beautiful. It’s a little out the way from the hustle of Gulf Shores so make sure to get all your essentials. There are dollar stores close enough to grab things if needed. Also bring a basketball, tennis and pickleball rackets. Not a far walk away! Laundry is a walk down the hall. You can use a card or coins to run the machines. Had a great time! Would definitely stay again.

The property was very clean and in the most perfect location! We loved just being able to walk to the private beach. We swam in the indoor pool and enjoyed it. Check-in was seamless and the host was responsive. We loved our stay here and wish we could have stayed longer. Only downside was that the amenities (1 garbage bag, 1 dishwasher detergent, no laundry detergent, no extra toilet paper) were very scarce for a 6 day stay with 5 people. We were able to make it work but it was a stretch. Otherwise it was wonderful and just what we needed.

First I had it reserved for 100 less. All my information including card to pay for second payment was listed. They did not take second payment and suddenly cancelled stay a few weeks before knowing I couldn’t get another place so short so to get the unit I had to pay an extra 100. Only one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, dishes in cabinet dirty so take some pods to clean. It doesn’t sleep six when no sheets or bedding provided for couch. Beach is dirty. Pools are dirty and closed most of time. It is not beachfront when your balcony is overlooking a parking lot. Drive at least 20 minutes to good restaurants. It was a safe area and security nice.
