Two story boathouse that sleeps 4 to 5 comfortably , complete with downstairs king size bed , bathroom and fireplace. The upper part can be accessed from outside or up the spiral staircase. The upstairs has a living area with two coaches, tv, bunkbed with a double and single mattress and a small kitchenette complete with two small fridges. Use of all three decks, upper, middle and bottom and a 50 foot dock while renting the the boathouse. Water accessories like canoe, paddles, paddleboat, floaties are also provided. There is also an outdoor gas BBQ complete with propane , outdoor lounge furniture on all three decks and firepit complete with firewood. If you want to bring your jet ski, there is a jet ski lift available to park overnight and boat launches located in town or over at the marina. At the time of the rental the owner main be up for the weekend staying in the cottage only , but will not access the decks or docks while the boathouse is being rented. If you are interested in the full cottage and boathouse rates can be provided for both . I have made some small changes allowing for more cloths storage , second fridge and spider spraying will be applied three times this summer. I have made the little corrections to help make everyone's stay even more enjoyable.
An outdoor shower was added this year with hot and cold water .
All you need is to bring is yourself and your food and beverages and you will get to enjoy one of the prettiest sides of Lake Simcoe with endless sunsets.

Great family vacation spot. We brought our two elementary school age kids and they had a great time. The boathouse was equipped with all kitchen essentials, coffee and water bottles were provided. John even dropped off extra pack of water bottles because it was so hot. Fire wood provided and it was great nice and dry. We brought our fishing rods and our kids each caught a little fish off the dock! We brought our paddle board unfortunately the water was really wavy each day so we couldn’t use it but oh well. The swimming was good, walk in and gradually gets deeper, we brought water shoes and I do recommend them. The sunsets at this cottage are beautiful! Little town of Beaverton is a 10 minute drive, we forgot a couple food items so had to go in and buy some stuff. There is a small axe throwing game set up at top, it was a hit with the kids. Outdoor shower was cool. We had dinner one night at The Belvedere Cookhouse & Saloon in Pefferlaw little less than 10 minute drive, was a cool spot and food was good. The kids have asked to go back to the boathouse next summer!

The place was ok . It was very dirty inside when we arrived and the bugs and spiders inside were ridiculous. There was no garbage to put anything in for days. There was only one small fridge when add said two . It would be fine for a few days but it was not great for a week with 5 people . The tv never worked and wifi was spotty at best . The cooking facilities need improvement. And the fact that there was no showing facilities in our space was awkward . Positives the outside was beautiful . The host was nice but there is a lot he can improve with being prepared for people to stay for extended periods.
