Or, enjoy a dip in our newly renovated gated swimming pool and Jacuzzi. Don't forget your tennis rackets, enjoy a game or two at our tennis courts!

Are pets allowed at Tranquility?
We have a strict NO PET policy. Please do not book this property if you intend on bringing any kind of pet. We cannot accept any pets due to a medical condition of the host who often spends time at the property (severe allergies among others).
Any guest found with a pet in a property will be required to vacate the premises without refund. Plus, pay for any cleanup fees. This is strictly enforced.
What is Tranquility's check-in/check-out policy?
On your scheduled day of arrival, you may check-in anytime after 4:00 p.m. EST. On your scheduled date of departure, check-out time is 10:00 a.m. EST. Early check-ins and late check-outs can't be confirmed until the day before arrival or departure. The fee is an extra $25 per hour, up to 4 hours. ALL EARLY CHECK-INS & LATE CHECK-OUTS MUST BE CONFIRMED VIA EMAIL.
Is the pool and Jacuzzi year round?
They are outdoor and are seasonal. The Jucuzzi generally closes after Thanksgiving and opens around Easter. Note: HOA may close either for a variety of reasons.
What is provided for each rental in regards to linens, bath towels, and toiletries?
Each bed within the property will be complete with sheets, pillow cases, and a blanket and/or comforter upon arrival. Each full bathroom is outfitted with at least 1 large bath towel per person, 1 wash cloth per person, and a bath mat. We provide beach towels for the beach and/or pool. The linens will only be serviced by Tranquility and Carolina Beach staff upon departure. Each bathroom will have an initial supply of hand soap and toilet tissue. Each kitchen will have an initial stock of paper towels and trash bags.
What housekeeping service does Tranquility offer?
Each rental home will be cleaned prior to guest check-in and then upon guest check-out and departure. This is scheduled at the time of your reservation and is required. Additional housekeeping services such as mid-stay cleans and towel and linen service are available upon request for an additional charge.
Should you leave something behind, please let us know. We are happy to send your items back to you, however we will charge you for the shipping and time.
Other amenities: Flat screen, ROKU TV's in bedrooms and living room, surround sound (including balcony), built in wet bar, wine cooler, ceiling fans, recessed lights, crown molding in every room, breakfast bar, granite counter-tops, pendant lights, two parking spaces, beach wagon, beach chairs, boogie board, sand toys, beach towels, linens and towels, hair-dryer, iron, ironing board, free wifi, high chair.

Historic Wilmington is about 15 minutes northwest.

We recently stayed at this beach house for two weeks, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience for our family. Right from the start, we were impressed by how impeccably clean the property was. Traveling with three kids means we prefer to make a lot of our own meals, and the kitchen exceeded our expectations—it was wonderfully well-equipped and made cooking a breeze.Our days were happily divided between relaxing by the pool and playing down at the beach. The location also made it incredibly easy to get out and enjoy everything the area has to offer. We had a great time checking out the local Carolina Beach events, and the Saturday farmer's market quickly became a weekend highlight for us.If you are looking for a spotless, comfortable home base with great amenities and easy access to local fun, we cannot recommend this place enough!

Our stay at the Tranquility was nice and relaxing. The host was very quick to respond with any questions we had. Condo was nice and clean and had everything you needed from sheets and bedding to everything you need to have a great day at the beach! The pool was well kept and very relaxing. Getting to the beach is a bit of a walk to get to. It's about a 10 minute walk although you do have a nice walkway that goes over the marsh to get to the beach, you cross over the road and through dunes and you have your own little piece of paradise. It was nice not having people on top of you! That made up for the walk there and back! I would definitely stay here again!

Great quick getaway place. Perfect for couples wanting a quick get away to the beach. 5min drive to Carolina beach boardwalk. 5 min drive to freeman park and 4x4 driving on the beach. 10 min walk across pretty boardwalk to the ocean. The actual apartment is 3rd level, does not seem to have elevators, so must be mobile to get upstairs with luggage. View is of the parking lot, but you can see water in the distance and between buildings. Well furnished and AC works great! Hot tub and pool just a quick 3 min walk! The houses surrounding the apt. are gorgeous and well worth a walk through the neighborhood. Very beachy vibes.
