The property was excellent, but the location was mixed. We had to drive to another beach to use the boogie boards. We did enjoy the paddle boards and kayak in the bay and the grandkids played pickleball and used the big inflatables at a nearby park. Not the property owners problem, but the beach is very dirty, a lot of trash. The manager did not respond to my emails. I had to get VRBO to intervene.

Michelle was a wonderful host with great communication and quick replies. The house is spectacularly beautiful and suited our family well. We travelled with my elderly father and chose this house for the elevator. One thing to note for anyone who is mobility impaired, is that there are 2-steps down from the elevator/kitchen/dining to the 2nd floor living space and the 2nd floor bedrooms. Also, there are 3 steps to enter the home to get to the elevator.

Host were wonderful! View was great. Can't help that the house next door is under construction or the that the beach has a block up so you can't walk straight out at the moment or see it from the front but would have been good to know.

The property is of excellent size and in a perfect location for a family holiday in Long Beach. It is convenient to the markets and restaurants. The roar of the oceans, fresh air and beds made rest and sleeping fairly easy after our daily adventures.What is disappointing was the lack of useable furniture in gathering areas. Most seating needs to be replaced as it has lost its structure and ability to support a person comfortably. (This is true of both the living room and outdoor furniture.). We were inconvenienced by an elevator that did not function during our stay. We also had a garage door that did not operate properly. I was most surprised that the home was not well stocked with wine or cocktail glasses or the necessary serving dishes to prepare in home meals.The owner sent a bottle of wine for our inconvenience, which was thoughtful.
