BATTERY-BACKED POWER. With the home's Tesla Powerwall battery backup system charged by solar, enjoy a worry free winter stay - you'll have heat and light even if the rest of the neighborhood doesn't. An eero mesh wi-fi network means that guests' internet and streaming services are second to none.
Guests are within minutes of scenic walking trails through pine-forested Strawberry Canyon,' which lies directly behind the property. The beach is an easy 15-minute walk through the woods and along quiet residential streets. The house was spacious, bed was comfortable, kitchen had all we needed, the view was wonderful and the location was great. The owner was flexible and easy to work with. It was nice that we got to meet him The only reason we have one start for description was, even though it did not affect our stay, it would have been nice to know ahead of time that the bottom deck was not available to use as the picture on VRBO showed and that someone would be at the property off and on while we were there. I would definitely stay there again.

This home is in a beautiful location surrounded by trees at the edge of the coastal forest with a view of the ocean. House is even prettier in person and kitchen is lovely and well stocked for preparing meals which we did. Fridge is a great size and everyone slept well in the comfy beds. Deck is where we spent our mornings with coffee. This will not be our last visit.

Excellent location to amazing beachwalks and tide pools, and close to the the town of Cambria. The views from the deck were spectacular! James was helpful when we arrived and had the wrong code, but he fixed the issue immediately. Great place to stay!

We were really looking forward to our stay and we were all a little underwhelmed. The house was decent, but showed it's age. There were cobwebs throughout the house and the towels smelled "musty". The place felt like it could do with a lick of paint. The deck furniture was not very nice (worn wood) and the area in the backyard appeared messy and unkept. There were a few minor issues regarding the wifi and washing machine which the owner responded to very promptly.
