Cobwebs adorned some of the light fixtures, and the floor in the downstairs bathroom needed more thorough sweeping. In general, the property would benefit from more attentive cleaning between guest stays.Maintenance was another area of concern. The decking used for accessing the keyed entry showed clear signs of neglect, with rotting boards that are in need of immediate replacement to ensure guest safety.House Condition and RenovationsMany spaces felt incomplete or forgotten. For example, caulk and foam insulation were visible around several windows, suggesting recent replacements that were not properly finished. Furthermore, many windows lacked screens, making it difficult to enjoy the cool evening air without letting insects inside.Sleeping Arrangements and Listing AccuracyThe listing described two bedrooms and a living room couch that could serve as a bed. However, upon our arrival, we discovered a seemingly unfinished attic with four beds. This attic, accessible through a spring-loaded door that leaned against the wall, was left open and suggested a 3rd bedroom.Overall, the rental rate was higher than the worth.
