On the Wine Route and Bastides, come and discover the gastronomy of Périgord in Eymet, starting with the Thursday morning market, a tradition since the bastide's founding. This gîte is located 15 km from Eymet (with its arcaded houses, fountain, and 13th-century castle) and 24 km from the old town of Bergerac, which has preserved vestiges of the past (half-timbered houses) along the banks of the Dordogne River. The castles of Bridoire and Monbazillac are nearby. Bergerac Airport is just a 15-minute drive away. The owners' daughter runs a cat boarding service on the property.
