Welcome to the Waldidyll Residence in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Sellin on Rügen. The Waldidyll Residence is situated in a quiet location and is just a stone’s throw from the town center.

A significant milestone in Sellin’s history was the construction of the historic pier in 1906. With its elegant architecture and a length of nearly 400 meters, the pier became a landmark and attracted numerous visitors who wanted to enjoy the picturesque scenery and the fresh sea air.
Over the years, Sellin has developed into a popular destination for vacationers seeking rest and relaxation. The charming architecture of the villas and hotels from the Wilhelminian era lends the town a special flair. Today, Sellin offers not only a variety of recreational activities such as swimming, sunbathing, and strolling along the promenade, but also a selection of first-class restaurants and accommodations that guarantee visitors a pleasant stay.

The Granitz is an impressive beech forest in the southeastern part of the island of Rügen, characterized by majestic giant trees and picturesque hiking trails. A highlight in the midst of this natural paradise is the Schwarze See, which is surrounded by dense forests. Its calm surface reflects the surrounding beauty and invites you to linger. Schwarze See is not only a popular destination for nature lovers but also a place of peace and reflection. Surrounded by the tranquil atmosphere of the forest, it is a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life and enjoy nature in all its splendor.
