The "Fern" Cottage is a Crystal Beach original, the house offers all the rustic charm with the updated conveniences of a newer kitchen, an updated bathroom, the living room has a comfortable seating area with a TV, NETFLIX, Disney Plus & Prime TV subscription, board games, playing cards and WIFi to keep everyone busy.

The kitchen is updated with stainless steel appliances including a Fridge, Stove, Microwave, toaster, Keurig and a DISHWASHER. The kitchen is stocked with pots & pans, dishes and all the cooking ware & utensils needed. We have supplied the condiments. All you need to do is BRING FOOD!

Location is the main point of the cottage: walking distance from the beach and few local shops / restaurants.
The cleaning could have been better: there was a lot of cobwebs everywhere, especially in the bathroom.
Finally our first morning there was a lot of ants everywhere in the kitchen: we had to buy anti-ants products. This wasn’t disclosed to us when we checked in and came as a surprise.
