Chalet Grand Confort is a really beautiful chalet hidden away outside the hamlet of Le Bouchet Mont Charvin. It is spacious and very tastefully decorated with a mixture of antique and modern styles. The fire is a particular treat - even on summer evenings ! There is a lot of outside space as well, with a BBQ area and a river rockpool for hot days. Thones is about fifteen minutes drive and both Annecy and resorts like La Clusaz are a further fifteen to twenty minutes from there - so there is a lot of choice if you want to break the peace and quiet. The owners are very friendly, helpful and non-intrusive. We had a wonderful time there this summer and would hope to visit again in the future.
