Jacqua was great, house was perfect for our needs. No complaints other than one sticky door

The house itself was nice, clean, well-maintained and in a great location within walking distance of the lake. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Unfortunately, the heating system was broken during our visit and would not turn on. With temperatures dropping to 45F, the house became cold, making it harder to enjoy our time indoors. We contacted the host immediately about the issue. While they responded, they were unwilling to come and fix the furnace during our stay. Instead, they dropped off a single space heater for my elderly mother’s room but provided nothing for my children or the rest of the house. This was completely inadequate and a major disappointment, especially given that reliable heating is a basic expectation for any rental.Because of this, our stay was less enjoyable than it should have been. I recommend confirming with the host that the heating system is fully functional before booking, especially during cooler months.
