What a charming home! Clearly loved by a family, it's nicely decorated with personal touches and beautiful plants, prints, and furniture. And a piano! The kitchen was fully appointed, the grill was ready to be used with tools, plenty of seating in the yard, the living room for a family movie night, the sunroom for a game of Scrabble (lots of books for all ages and games too). Four comfortable bedrooms, great water pressure in the 2.5 bathrooms, a washer and dryer if needed, plenty of towels and if you need them, extra sheets. Window a/c units worked very well and kept the entire home quite comfortable, even during a heat wave.It is a pet-friendly home; we brought ours and had room to put down a mat and kennel in the living room, and an unfenced yard but still plenty of room for a dog to explore.Very convenient to Vassar, the Hudson, amazing restaurants, the CIA, we also enjoyed a walk on the Walkway Over the Hudson State Historic Park.Owner great with communication by text, easy to check in and out. Would stay here again!

Family stayed for 3 nights in complete comfort. Host was readily available if needed. House had everything we needed for a carefree weekend. A beautifully furnished home with a great back yard & lovely outdoor seating that accommodated many. Will definitely return!

Our long weekend at Cynthia’s house was amazing! She communicated extremely well and was even flexible when it came to our check in time, which was great. The house was very clean and had everything we needed when it came to linens, towels and kitchen appliances. Would highly recommend if you need somewhere to stay in Poughkeepsie.
