We had an outstanding stay and will absolutely be booking this property again—next time we’ll be reserving well in advance to make sure it’s available! The home was spotless, spacious, and even better than expected. The communal living areas were perfect for our group, giving everyone plenty of room to gather, relax, and enjoy time together. The kitchen was incredibly well-equipped, the bedrooms were comfortable, and the entire property felt welcoming and thoughtfully designed. One of the best parts was the location. It was close to everything we needed, yet the beautiful grounds and peaceful neighborhood made it feel like a private retreat. It truly offered the best of both worlds.Mike was a fantastic host—responsive, helpful, and easy to work with throughout the entire stay. This was a five-star experience from start to finish, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, comfortable place to stay in the Chicago area.

We had a great stay at Mike’s home while in town for an event. Mike met us when we arrived and personally walked us through the property, which was a great touch. He was especially kind to our 3-year-old, showing him some toys around the house that he could play with during our stay. The home is incredibly well-stocked, spacious, and beautiful, with plenty of room for our group of six to spread out comfortably. One of the highlights was Mike himself—he shared the history of the house and had extensive knowledge of the neighborhood and surrounding area, making him a fantastic local resource. The neighborhood feels like a hidden suburban oasis: quiet, beautiful, and conveniently located near just about everything. We also enjoyed the large backyard and swing set, which was a big hit with our son. While a few things around the home show their age, everything worked well and the property was clearly cared for. Overall, it was a wonderful place to stay, and we would absolutely return in the future.

Beautiful house. The hot tub was not there accurate to the listing and there was a bedbug, but the host was very reasonable and helpful
