Villa Pergantini is a beautiful holiday home in the heart of Agia Efimia with amazing sea views and a colorful garden view!
This 2 bedrooms holiday home offers the combination of unique traditional decor and the convenient location which means that you have everything you might need in within walking distance! The sea is just a breath away!! There is also free private parking, wifi, a fully equipped kitchen and a variety of coffee shops where you can enjoy your breakfasts just few steps away!!
Villa Pergantini is situated in the picturesque harbour of Agia Efimia. A lovely detached house, overlooking the Ionian sea, and decorated in traditional Kefallonian style. It is a unique house that draws the visitor into the culture, philosophy and tradition of the island, through its distinctive layout and decoration. A remarkable holiday house offering the experience of a holiday and living as a local. The villa has stood for a half a century, and bears similar architectural details to the house that was standing in the same spot, owned by a local family of ships owners. Recently renovated with all the modern comforts, vintage furniture, paintings and books, the villa is a refuge from the hustle and bustle of daily life. The villa includes two spacious bedrooms with all the necessary home comforts, including air conditioning in the living room and the bedrooms, and the master bedroom has direct access to the garden through large French doors. The lounge and dining room, along with the fully equipped kitchen, are separate rooms in the house. Guests can taste the local life in the heart of Agia Efimia, and spend hours enjoying the beautifully mature garden surrounding the house.Agia Efimia is the capital of the Municipality of Pylaros. A picturesque marina and at the same time a tourist resort opposite Ithaca island, 9 km from Sami and 29 km from the island’s capital, Argostoli. The area is considered a cosmopolitan resort. The villa is delightful, it has real character and is roomy and very comfortable. Situated just off the yacht moorings you have a lovely view across the bay plus it’s a great spot to sit out and watch the world go by. Plenty of shade to one side if the sun is too hot and good to have a garden at the rear which is private and a real sun trap.
Lots of places to eat within a short walk and plenty of shops and supermarkets, everything you need is in easy walking distance.
Walking past the yachts and up a short hill there are steps down to a swimming beach, ideal for an early swim as the sun rises and in the evening when it’s a little cooler.
We had hired a car but hardly used it as we loved being in the villa and Agia Efimia is so pretty.
