We went down to LaPorte to meet our daughter and her family for a Weekend get-away in Texas. The location was perfect, and the house was large enough to spread out with complete privacy for everyone. There's a grocery store for convenience, a Cuban restaurant with great coffee just steps away, and it is a quick walk to the beach as well. The host was amazing and very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. We would come again.

It was large, clean, and pleasant. Those who sat on the balcony said the view of the ocean was blocked by railing. What's lacking? No closet space to hang clothes, no broom, no laundry detergent, no extra large white trash bags, no cable access, no hangers in one available closet, no kleenex. The wife made sure nothing was left in the master bathroom and opened every door, including those we did not use. One door feel off the hinge. it apparently was damaged before we arrived. Owner didn't inspect property before renting again.
