This large luxury 2 level apartment has almost everything for the perfect getaway treat. It sleeps up to 13 people, thats from £38ppp night. The apartment has internet access and free wifi. Parking is free all day.

The apartment is situated in a VERY convenient location, where almost immediately there is a supermarket, restaurants, a wine bar, a gym, a lovely common with free exercise equipments, and many other amenities just minutes away. Go across the road from the apartment to the Post Office and purchase your one day travel pass. Cross back over the road and wait at the bus stop for the 127 bus. Within 5-10 minutes you will be on the Metro/underground (Tooting Broadway)which can take you most places in a matter of minutes. The perfect base from which to discover all the sights and attractions that London has to offer. Only a short trip to the centre of London and all the attractions to be found in this exciting capital city. Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, The London Eye, The O2 Centre, Wimbledon Tennis museum, Wembley Stadium and Arena, Tower of London, Tower Bridge, London Aquarium, Buckingham Palace, West End shopping... the list is almost endless!

From Gatwick Airport you can take the train to Victoria Station. Change to the underground train and take the victoria line to Stockwell Station. Cross over to take the northern line to Tooting Broadway. Come out of the station, turn right and cross over the road to take the 127 Bus. When you hear Ashbourne Road come off and cross over the road to the apartment.
From Gatwick Airport you can also take the National Express Coach which takes you to Mitcham. You can purchase your ticket on line before you travel. Drop off point is just a 10 minutes walk to the apartment.

From Heathrow Airport take the underground to Leciester Square. Change and take the northern line to Tooting Broadway. Come out of the station, turn right and cross over the road to take the 127 Bus. When you hear Ashbourne Road come off and cross over the road to the apartment.

We had a wonderful stay at our VRBO. The property was exactly as described. We were allowed to drop off our luggage early so we could start exploring London immediately. The location was a little further from London than I had hoped but transportation was easy and convenient. We had a group of 13 people and it worked out well for us.

Nice apartment on a busy street, there are traffic noises 24h on the living room and 1 bedroom side. Bus stop to the tube is close to the house and post office for bus tickets across the street. We used Uber to get to the city (appro. £28) as public transportation is really expensive. Nice host.

The flat is in a good location for amenities. Lots of supermarkets & takeaways etc nearby

Think the flat would work well for a large group or several families
Based on our stay these points maybe helpful for others.
1. Flat located on 1st floor above supermarket. Stairs are not mentioned in listing
2. There is free parking on the road but this is very limited. Permits & restrictions apply generally in the area
3. The road outside is VERY busy and VERY noisey and can be heard throughout the front of the apartment ( lounge, kitchen, bedroom 1). We did have the windows open as it was during the heatwave
4. Window in the back bedroom- one side taped shut and one side only opens about 3inches. Patio doors in back bedroom locked.
5. Unfortunately the bedding was not clean in one of the bedrooms. Make up stain on one sheet and the throw/cover also had stains. We were able to use one of the other bedrooms
