Nestled in the pines, this year round family-friendly cabin in the most peaceful neighborhood is conveniently located one block from the lake, adjacent to historic Old Brockway Golf Course, minutes to Northstar California Resort and downtown Kings Beach. The central location allows for easy access to all that North Lake Tahoe has to offer, but the ability to relax in the mountains in a quiet neighborhood. The cabin is located around the corner from Safeway and Spindleshanks restaurant (the best kept secret on the north shore!) Location Highlights:
- 0.5 miles to sandy beaches (no parking or traffic!)
- 0.5 miles to grocery store and coffee
- Walking trail to Tahoe Vista Regional Park (Groomed Cross Country trails, Sledding hills, Olympic sized turf field, Treetop Adventure, Pickleball, Playground for littles and more)

About the cabin:
*THIS LISTING IS FOR TWO LEVELS OF A THREE LEVEL CABIN. The completely separate bottom level is occupied by a single long term tenant with their own entrance. There are no shared inside spaces*
As you walk in the door, you are welcomed by refinished original hardwood floors throughout, a cozy living room with a large sectional, a gas fireplace, 65” TV, and massive picture windows with views of pines. Walk down the hall to the master bedroom with a comfy king bed and large his/hers closets across from one of the bathrooms. The magazine worthy kitchen, with custom alder cabinetry and marble countertops, is next to the dining room. The adjoining dining area and boasts a bar and beverage fridge.
The sliding barn door in the dining room takes you to the upstairs level with a queen bedroom next to a den with a queen bed, couch and electric fireplace.
Sleeping areas:
The main floor has the primary bedroom with king bed across from a full bathroom. Through the dining room barn door, there is a bedroom with a queen bed and when you step out of that bedroom, you are in the den area with another queen bed. You have to walk through one to get to the other but there is a door separating the two (see photos).
Traveling with little ones? We know how it is. We have a wagon for walks and trips to the beach, a booster seat, a pack n play and toys and books for play. Sleds are available in the wintertime.
Parking information:
TWO parking spots are designated. Street parking is available from May-November.
The porch sheds onto part of the driveway so please refrain from parking under the overhang during the winter to avoid any snow damage. Please adhere to Caltrans traffic advisories during winter storms. Snow tires or 4-wheel drive may be required. Vehicles may be towed from May-November if they are parked on the street in the way of snowplows.
Other things to note:
This home will be stocked with a starter set of consumables such as soaps and paper products. Guests are advised to either bring or purchase additional after arrival.
*Patio furniture and barbeque will not be available from November - May.*
The property has a metal roof from which snow & ice can slide causing serious injury to those below. Children should never be allowed to play unsupervised outside when snow loads exist on the roof. People should never walk under the eaves of the property when snow load is present on the roof.
Due to the regularity of fires in the greater area, air quality is not an exception to our cancellation policy.
*Important: We support and comply with the Placer County Short Term Rental Ordinances which strictly enforces the following:
1. Quiet hours shall be imposed from 9:00 p.m. to 8:00 a.m. Pacific Standard Time
2. No open wood burning fires
3. All trash inside closed bear boxes
Neighbors have access to a 24 hour hotline to complain. Fines and fees related to verified complaints will be passed on to you through VRBO or Placer County.

The home was warm and inviting. It had bedrooms on 3 different floors which made privacy nice. The kitchen was well equipped. Not to mention a nice hot tub that was very clean. We walked every morning to Starbucks, a short walk down their street and just around the corner. Then we just crossed the street in front of Starbucks and our toes were in Lake Tahoe, where there's a small park with picnic tables on the beach. Couldn't have been more convenient.The host responded rapidly when we had any type of question. She was very helpful. Her flexibility to our specific needs was the best I have ever experienced! Would book again tomorrow if I could.

This was a great place for me, my husband and our two sons. It had everything we needed, and the location was perfect. It's a ten minute walk to the lake and maybe fifteen minutes to a bunch of shops and restaurants. We had a snafu with the Wi-Fi on arrival, but Chelsea got it fixed ASAP and was super responsive. There's no AC, but even though it was 90F, with fans and the windows open, the house stayed very comfortable! We'd definitely stay here again!

Exceeded our expectations…. Great location. Clean, ample parking, close to everything on the north shore. A well stocked kitchen, it’s so nice when going to cook and there are all sizes of pots and pans. This kitchen had everything I needed. I brought my own things but, didn’t have to use them. The outside patio great for entertaining and relaxing. We will be back

Didn’t love this property. Everything felt very cheap. We paid surge holiday pricing and it definitely wasn’t worth it. The hot tub was broken our entire stay and they did refund a bit but we picked this property because of the hot tub so that was disappointing. The house needs a deep clean, the couch had a lot of junk in and around it. Communication was good, quick and helpful.
