The fine print, what to expect: Our cabins include basic cable, satellite or streaming television, basic cooking utensils, propane gas grill (propane provided), washer and dryer (if applicable- please look at the amenities), towels and bed linens for guest use along with heating for winter. Our homes come equipped with either a drip or Keurig coffee maker. *Linens and bath towels *Extra blankets and bedding *Spa towels for properties with spas/hot tubs. While our kitchens are fully equipped with glassware/cookware/utensils/dishes, etc. this does not ensure that all homes will have a blender, crock pot, spices, coffee, or condiments. Please call ahead to confirm if items such as these are available. If not, we ask that you bring your own. Basic toiletries in the Master bathroom only are: * bar soap *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom. Basic toiletries in all additional bathrooms (if applicable) are: *three (3) rolls of toilet paper; one (1) on the holder and two (2) stored in the bathroom, *one (1) travel-sized bar soap and/or facial soap. Basic supplies in the home: *five (5) All-Clear laundry pods, *dish detergent in pod or liquid form (quantities may vary and/or be limited), and three (3) Lemi Shine rinse agent in single-use cups (for homes with dishwashers), *liquid dish soap in (at minimum) a partial container (may only be in homes without dishwashers- check amenities to ensure the home you booked has a dishwasher), *two to three (2-3) rolls of paper towels, *two (2) trash liners in each waste basket; one (1) prepared in a basket and at least one (1) in the bottom or under the sink. We encourage guests to please be mindful of the supplies we provide and always bring extras as housekeeping does not deliver more than what is required to be left in the homes. We highly encourage guests to be prepared with access to chains and/or 4-wheel drive in winter months. Firewood is not provided for homes with wood-burning fireplaces.

Our stay at Timbers too was good. The back porch, which is where the hot tub and grill are is through the master bedroom. The back porch was much smaller than expected with lots of cob webs on all the seating, tables and even the hot tub cover. We had to sweep everything off before we could enjoy the back porch. Lighting is another issue on the back porch. The grill is in the corner and is completely dark, there are 2 lights but 1 only worked if plugged in, we had to use an extension cord from inside to plug it in. The bed in the master bedroom has a plastic cover on the mattress that makes lots of noise when you move and also makes it pretty hot, several outlets in the master bedroom don’t work, a strange smell in the laundry room (almost like a sewer smell), the toilet in the hallway bathroom needs new hardware, it would get stuck and not flush properly. Lots of traffic on Hull road so it’s pretty loud on the front porch in the mornings. No spices of any kind not even salt and pepper so bring your own or buy some. Otherwise this house was just fine for our stay. The kitchen and living room areas are large and cozy. The dumpsters are conveniently located and parking was good. The house is in a great location to midtown, Alto, Albertsons and just up the road to the school to see the wild horses.

We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the amenities available from this property. It was very comfortable and cozy. The king beds were appreciated by all. It is a bit quirky but definitely worth the price and the location is close to almost everything.

The cabin itself was fine overall. Another reviewer described it as “quirky,” and I think that’s accurate. It’s older, but appears to have been reasonably well cared for.There were plenty of utensils and cookware available, which we appreciated, but absolutely no basic cooking staples were provided, not even salt and pepper, so plan to bring everything you’ll need if you intend to cook.We also experienced the same Keurig issue mentioned in a previous review. At this point, it would make more sense to remove or replace unusable appliances rather than continue advertising them as amenities.The biggest downside for us was the bed. It had a plastic mattress cover that was extremely noisy and uncomfortable and really impacted our sleep quality. It made the bed feel much less comfortable than expected for a vacation rental.The cabin is also very dark inside, with minimal natural light and little opportunity to enjoy the scenery from indoors. The best view is from the front porch, though we found ourselves needing to wipe things down before sitting outside.The interior didn’t feel especially cozy or well appointed either. The large living room had smaller furniture spread far apart, along with random accent tables that made the space feel sparse rather than inviting. Overall, the stay was okay, but several comfort-related details kept it from feeling especially relaxing.
