Schillersdorf is a small village in beautiful rural surroundings on the edge of the Müritz National Park about 10 km from the small town of Mirow. The Leppinsee lake with boat hire and bathing facilities is about 2 km away. With its huge forest complexes, many small lakes, meadows and moors, the Müritz National Park is one of the most important habitats for rare animals and plants. Visitors can explore the area themselves using the well-developed network of cycling and hiking trails. Guided excursions are offered for observing wild animals and birds.
