The last 1/4 quarter mile to the home is via a dirt road which is well maintained but low clearance vehicles might have a challenge accessing the home.

Our 5,500 square foot, 4 bedroom, 5.5 bath, custom home is situated in the exclusive gated Castle Rock neighborhood only 4 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and 24 miles from historic downtown Durango. The home is the very last home in the neighborhood and sits on 5 acres and backs up to 1000s of acres of National Forest offering unparalleled privacy and seclusion - yet close proximity to the abundant activities that Durango offers.

The brand new home has been outfitted to be the ultimate vacation rental with a private hot tub, theatre, game room, multiple covered decks with the main deck having awesome views, gas fire pit and an outdoor dining table that seats 12. Of course, the typical amenities such as BBQ Grill, WIFI, washer/dryer, with ONE space available in the garage with plenty of additional parking in the paved driveway. The home features Starlink WIFI with internet speeds of around 100mbs and there are TVs in each King Bedroom.

The residence is not pet friendly.

Stay with us and we offer DISCOUNTS on both summer (white water rafting, horseback riding etc.) and winter (ski/snowboard rentals, sleigh rides, snowmobile tours etc.) activities.

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.
