This charming, characterful, terraced cottage offers a large living area to relax in, a spacious bedroom and breathtaking bathroom along with a freestanding slipper bath to soak in after a busy day exploring. The kitchen leads to an outside seating area to enjoy a relaxing drink.

Clean. Comfortable. Ideal location for Matlock, shops, walks and restaurants. M1 motorway only 20 minutes away. And the only accommodation in the area to accept 3 dogs.

Great location for a couple with dog in a quiet area of Matlock. Convenient park and walking routes from here. Dog friendly. Between two good pubs for food. We have a petrol car and parking in front of cottage was OK, but maybe a big SUV cannot and you need to park around the corner. Comms from owner were good and had no problems checking in and out.

When we arrived the cleaner was still there but we knew she would be because we were early. Once in the cottage seemed really small and low especially all the doorways and in the bedroom the lights hang down low I’m 6’4 and banged my head numerous times my wife is 5’4 and had no problem. A good suggestion in the bedroom would be to put flush ceiling lights in rather than hanging pendants. The car park is really tight and when we came out one morning someone had scraped my car as we were in the big car park just up the road, if you have got a really small car then parking is not a problem. Also after we had cooked breakfast we went to wash the dishes but there was no washing up liquid or no spare bin bags for the bins.the outdoor space is so small and overgrown and didn’t get any sun even on a really sunny day. Steve the host was great and responded really quickly if needed. Overall a nice cottage fit for a hobbit and in a great location
