Sal Secret Spot

We spent 3 days at Sal Secret Spot and absolutely loved our stay. The hotel is beautiful, with a lovely pool and a good breakfast. The staff are incredibly attentive and always greet you with a smile. Since it was my birthday, they prepared a little surprise in our room, which made our stay even more special. A special mention goes to Nila, who served us breakfast every morning. She was so lovely and always greeted us with such a warm and cheerful good morning. Without a doubt, when we return to Uluwatu, we will choose Sal again!

My adult daughter and I stayed in a suite for a week. We loved the room with the outdoor shower and bathroom, the private patio and the lovely decor and furnishings. We loved the friendly staff. Everyone smiled, cared and went out of their way to make us comfortable. We loved the pool, the food and the size of the grounds. The location is perfect-just off the main drag and plenty of great restaurants in walking distance. Massage at the hotel or 5 mins walk. We will definitely return here and recommend this fabulous place to friends and family. No need to look further.

I didn't get to stay at this place. I was put up at the sister location, Sal Central. The staff at Sal Central was outstanding, welcoming and friendly. They did their best to compensate for the booking error. The room was well decorated and they provided a bag and sarongs to go to the beach.

On the day of my reservation, I was told that there had been a booking error and that the room I had reserved (which had previously been confirmed) was not actually available. This was 2 days after I received a reminder about my stay. While I was put up in their sister location, Sal Central, I did not feel like that location was as nice and well positioned as Secret Spot. The balcony door to my room wasn't fully sealed. There was a good cm on either side that had a gap which let in mosquitoes and sound. I might as well have had the doors fully open. I also had a cockroach climb out of the bathroom drain.
