Lakeside Beauty Resort is the dream retreat destination for a group of families or friends. The property has unique aspects to be enjoyed in any season. A beautiful pool and heated hot tub are ready for day or night enjoyment. Best of all, is the lake, built by the Army Corps of Engineer in 1953, filled with rescue ducks of all varieties, bass, and striper for your fishing pleasure! Take out our peddle-boat, or bring your own kayak/canoe and explore to heart’s content.
For SuperTramp fans, this was the home of the drummer Bob Siebenberg.
This amazing home, sitting on 33 acres, has unrivaled privacy, a rustic charm you’d expect in a lake and mountain setting, with 4000+ square feet of living space to get together or take some personal time. It's perfect for family gatherings to reconnect, relax, and yet has plenty of available activities for everyone. In less than 10 minutes you can be in either the famous recreational haven of Base Lake and/or the hometown comfort of Oakhurst. And of course, the property is only 18 miles from the southern entrance to Yosemite.
The property sits on a small lake with its own private dock. The lake is fed by winter rain runoffs and water levels are maintained in the summer to preserve the fish, duck, turtle, and other wildlife populations. The options are endless! Let your senses absorb the amazing wildlife or just relax with a fishing pole in hand (catch, eat, or take home!) and feel the daily stress disappear.
The home's amenities boast 4300 sq ft, 6 bedrooms 4 full bathrooms, outdoor kitchen complemented with a pool (open ~mid-May thru Oct) and attached hot tub (fits 4-6 comfortably). Please note the pool is NOT heated.
There’s a gas BBQ. Most of the bedrooms have an open view of the lake. You could enjoy dinner or a happy hour beverage on the large patio deck facing the lake. C’est la vie! Take a stroll along the lakeside trails, enjoy a board game, horseshoe, take a dip into the pool, or enjoy the sunset in the spa. Absorb the beauty of your surroundings. You deserve this. Our favorite, kicking back on the deck watching the fish literally leap out of the water.
Pets are negotiable. Requires owners approval and $300 pet fee. Maximum 2 pets per rental. To preserve the home, no wet dogs inside and pets are not allowed on the beds or furniture. If this applies to you, in your inquiry request please describe your lovely pet, agree to the conditions, and we can chat about the possibilities!

- NO smoking indoors or near the doorways. This is to keep the home as scent free and approachable to everyone who rents. Evidence will result in a fine.
- NO amplified music. Madera county is placing new noise regulations. If I get fined because of you, I will forward the cost to you.

Our group of 16 (ages 9 to 77) loved this property. The house is amazing and spacious enough to allow us all privacy. Well-stocked kitchen, incredible view. We filled our days with kayaking and peddle boating on the lake and enjoying the beautiful swimming pool area - the pool even nicer than anticipated. A group of us spent a morning antique/thrifting and found Oakhurst to have very interesting little shops with a variety of collections.We enjoyed watching the animals across the lake: the cows coming down to water, the ducks, geese and egrets - and in the evenings a family of cavorting coyotes.A group of us also spent a day enjoying Bass Lake - a short drive away.We gather annually as a family and we all agreed this was the best house we have rented by far.I'd like to add our hosts were attentive and helpful and I obviously recommend staying in their home.

The location is beautiful and peaceful. The wildlife is extraordinary; fish, ducks, geese, birds, turtles, and cows! Oakhurst and Bass Lake are close by making everything convenient. Our kids and grandkids enjoyed fishing and paddle boating on the private lake. We enjoyed the serenity and relaxation the property offered. Loved every minute!

This is a wonderful large group vacation home! The bedrooms were spread out over the 3 levels. The kitchen was large with a full refrigerator/freezer, plus 2 additional small refrigerators that were perfect for sodas, waters, etc. also TWO dishwashers! The view of the lake was so beautiful. We enjoyed watching some World Cup games in the large media room, with comfy couches and recliners. Everyone loved the two pedal-boats and lots of fishing happened from the boats and the dock. We also made great use of the pool! There were 13 of us, ages ranging from 3 weeks old to 72 years. Would definitely come back!

Overall, not much to complain about regarding our stay here other than some minor inconveniences. The property description seemed to indicate that there were 6 bedrooms listed within the main house, in ADDITION to the bunk beds in the game room and the detached bungalow house across the walkway to the pool. We ended up having to cram a little more than expected due to this. Could have just been my misunderstanding. There was coincidently a scheduled PG&E power shut down on our first night from 9-10:30pm. After the power came back on, the hot tub heater seemed to stop working the rest of the weekend. The kitchen is awesome, has a nice huge granite island that fits everybody. There was designated mini-fridges too but they didn't do the best job of cooling the drinks we put in there. We had issues all weekend with the kitchen sinks draining. The home could use some plumbing maintenance. The backyard and patio was awesome, very spacious with a full deck and the pond was not a disappointment. We spent most of our weekend out there just soaking in the scenery. The property manager responded to my inquiries and was conflict-free. That goes a long way as the consumer.
