Perhaps the most unique waterfront rental home on Lake Marion!! Updates March 2025 & 2026 include: New Upper private bedroom suite with separate private access - it includes 1 full bath, kitchenette and beautiful balcony views. Also added a full bath by the main living area, some new flooring and new bedspreads and curtains.
The central courtyard is surrounded by an additional 4 bedrooms, 2 full baths and 2 half baths plus a Game room, Laundry room and a Reading room - Please note that these rooms are accessed by individual doorways from the Courtyard area. The home's large Living room/Dining room and Kitchen have NEW 2026 flooring and provides a great gathering space throughout the day and evening times till you retire to your private sleeping accommodations. The various covered patio areas also provide unique private or social gathering places. The large dock and 100' of shoreline can easily moor several boats and/or jet skiis with deep water and no wave action located on the popular expansive Taw Caw Creek section of Lake Marion that is known for great boating, inner-tubing and fishing. Just 2 minutes away is the Goat Island Marina and Restaurant with a waterside Tiki Bar. This home is basically midway between I-95 and the Dam on the North side of Lake Marion and is near the Clear-cut Channel that allows safe travel to the South side of the lake. There are a couple of FREE boat ramp launches in the area as well as a ramp at the Goat Island Resort Marina. Pets are allowed with a Pet Fee payment. Smoking is restricted to outdoor areas.

The property was exactly what we were looking for for a larger group of people. We enjoyed the cooking area, the living room area, the outside (both the courtyard and backyard). One thing that surprised us a little was there were no linens or towels. A store run was able to fix that. It may have been missed in communication before.

This is a very unique property. If you are looking for fancy, this is not the house for you. If you are looking for a rustic lake house with lots of room for the family to spread out, awesome gathering areas, all the modern conveniences you could want, nice quiet creek for kayaking, dock for tying up your boat, and a very peaceful and quiet neighborhood, this property is perfect. We had a blast and can't wait to book again!

We enjoyed our stay. It was nice to be able to bring our fur babies along. The property needs a few updates but the AC works well and it is a unique house and right on the water.
