BEACH ACCESS
Casa Playa is located on the north side of West Beach Boulevard, directly across the street from the beach and you can see the beach! You have beach access at the 12th (3 mins,
POOL? You bet!
BIG outdoor pool (shared only between the two sides). 30x18x3-5' rectangular bit of bliss!
PARKING
There is available onsite parking for at least 6 cars per side. More if you park under then home and stack carefully. Just share nice with the neighbors!
WIFI/INTERNET
YES! We have an awesome Eero mesh network to ensure excellent wifi coverage throughout this spacious home. Spotty coverage is always an issue for big places. Sure internet may work next to the router in the living room, but what about the far reaches of the home!? That's why we installed a multi-node mesh network. And what's the internet like? It is generally solid and ran > 100Mb down the last test--sufficient for several simultaneous video conference sessions for remote work and education. Internet is, of course, an amenity and subject to service provider outages (and guests "troubleshooting" it), especially with the havoc the sand and salt wreak on cabling and facilities, no more so than any other home on the beach though, and likely better since its close in and new construction!
SOAPS, TOWELS, COFFEE, ETC ETC
As with most beach homes in the area, the local mgt co provide what they call a "starter supply" of soaps, toilet paper, and paper towels, etc. Enough for the first night to get you going! Please plan to bring or purchase additional supplies, and any cleaning or pantry supplies you may need, or to make a quick run to the store (or have it delivered!). You will want to bring beach towels or beach chairs as well. Because mgt cos will not generally support them, grills are not provided, though they are sometimes inherited from prior guests: your mileage may vary on this, and we usually assess and then go snag a small charcoal kettle when we come down ourselves. Also of note: at many locations, you may find the bunk beds (and certain other beds) are not fully made--instead a bedding pack is provided. This is a common practice for the local management companies, which is both green (if the bedding is not used, it doesn't have to be laundered) AND more sanitary--housekeeping does not have to crawl on the bunks and so on to make the beds. Also also... all our homes have drip coffee makers and most now have Keurigs as well.
No smoking please. No pets.

We all had a great time, and all of our courses were within 15 to 20 minutes. Nice place!

Our family of 17 stayed here for 4 nights. There was plenty of room for all of us! We were especially thankful for the 2nd refrigerator! The house was clean and had everything we needed. We appreciated that there were so many bathrooms and a laundry as we had 5 young children with us. We loved how close the beach was to the house. We sat out in the balcony every night. Would definitely come again!

We greatly enjoyed our two months at Rick's place. He is an excellent communicator. We were very pleased with the house, the location to the beach (only about .2 miles to beach access), and the proximity to town. One thing to keep in mind if you are scheduling the winter season (Jan-Feb) is that there might be construction nearby, but they don't start super early or work too late. But the winter is the slow season, so lots of rentals in the area try to get projects taken care of during that time. We also really loved everyone being able to have their own bathroom. Overall, great place to stay, great host, and great experience.
