Explore nearby cultural gems such as the Kopavogur Art Museum and the Natural History Museum of Kopavogur within walking distance, while the Kopavogur Swimming Hall is a mere 3-minute drive away from ICA and Sky Lagoon 10 minutes away.
The neighbourhood is quiet but central.
Getting Around:
Buses run close to the apartment and to the city centre and the company Airport Direct offers a drop-off/pick-up at Hamraborg bus stop, in only 3 minutes walking distance. You can book airport transfer through us.
Taxi can be ordered to this location, but this is a more expensive option.
The property offers free parking, so you can park your rent-a-car in front and be free to travel around on your own car. Please contact us for recommendations on rentals.

Our stay was fine, we had the 5-twin room for 4 of us and it was comfortable. The kitchenette had a hot plate, fridge, electric kettle, and microwave. Hand and dish soap was included. Good location too with a Kronan grocery right across the street. Due to a flat tire out by Kirkjufell, we didn't arrive until 2am, and since it's self check in, it was fine. Only issues were 1) the keypad to enter the room was difficult to learn to use (my first time trying to enter the room, I locked myself out for a minute with an alarm sound and everything), 2) the shower leaked into the bathroom, a lot, and although there is also a drain under the sink, the floor was very wet after every shower (great hot water though!), 3) because we had the flat tire and were arriving very late, I messaged the property though VRBO to make sure a VERY late (2am) check in was OK but I never heard a thing back from them, 4) the clothes washer on our floor worked fine (detergent was included) but the dryer didn't dry, and we tried 3 different cycles! A few hours later, we just had to hang clothes around the room to dry them. All in all it was fine, we'd stay again.
