Guests can enjoy the second bedroom with queen bed , fireplace mantle and office area. The hall bath has a modern twist on a classic bath with subway tile and the original claw foot tub /shower to enjoy! And let’s not forget the huge screened in porch , and the adorable rocking chair front porch with a charming porch swing and the fenced in pet friendly back yard and deck for grilling!!

Walk through the historic Oakwood Cemetery at the end of the block , and enjoy the historic neighborhood with all the beautiful homes to admire! RDU airport is only a 15 min drive along with Meridith college and Shelly lake for walking and biking trails! NC State is only an 8 min drive along with Cameron village for shopping and exploring . The Historic Oakwood Hideaway is close to several breweries and downtown events! The home is pet friendly and ready to be enjoyed for work , play or relaxing the day away!!!

Wonderfully renovated jewel in the heart of Raleigh’s Historic Oakwood Neighborhood. Super clean and pet friendly. We (and our furry companion) especially loved the fully fenced and secured backyard. It definitely made our trip easy. The neighborhood is quiet and walkable with restaurants and coffeehouses nearby. Super safe area. Our host was very accommodating and responsive. Their commitment to making our trip comfortable was showcased in their quick reaction to a minor mechanical issue at the house prior to our arrival. They made sure we were aware of the situation, had secondary accommodations available to us on our first night, and made sure we could easily transition to our original booking at Oakwood once the repair was completed. All on a busy holiday weekend. We were very pleased by the level of customer service we received. We look forward to staying at Historic Oakwood, or another property of this host, for our next trip to Raleigh.

Extremely easy checking process. And very easy checkout- didnt have a 10 page process like some other rentals. Lol. Nice to have room for 1 car in the driveway. Perfect backyard for dogs. Cute screened in porch. Plenty of hot water and good water pressure. Pretty quiet and nice to have an easily adjusted thermostat. Good location and lots of restaurants close to drive to.

This was our second stay and it was great. Beautiful, comfortable home in the best location . Great kitchen for cooking and having dinner with a group. The fenced in back yard and screened in back porch are the perfect spot for relaxing and our bulldog loved being able to run around. We definitely will book again for our next trip to Raleigh!
