Located in the listed town of La Ferté-Imbault, Madeleine's house is surrounded by two hectares of enclosed parkland. It was built in the sixties by the famous actress Madeleine Sologne, who notably distinguished herself in The Eternal Return with Jean Marais.
The house is contemporary, renovated, with large windows, very bright and surrounded by a terrace that allows you to live outside in all seasons.
It is directly accessible on foot from the Paris train (1/30 H) with a change in Salbris and 10 minutes on the famous BA train. The train station is located less than 200 meters from the house, (line under construction in summer 2024, replacement bus). 2 hours 00 minutes from Paris by car by A 71.
It consists of a large living room, a semi/open kitchen, two double bedrooms and one single bedroom on the first floor and a large bedroom for two and a small one for one person on the first floor. A bathroom with bathtub, toilet in the bedrooms, a separate toilet and another in the garage. In total, you have the possibility to sleep 6/7 adults and a young person.
The park is enclosed, safe for children and dogs, you can observe many birds and squirrels. Entomophobes refrain.

The village of La Ferté-Imbault is located 8 km from the exit of the A71 motorway linking Paris to Bourges and 16 km from the A85 motorway linking Nantes to Lyon and 15 km from Romorantin in the heart of the Sologne rivers. (Cher nearby, Sauldre 500 metres away...). In the village you will find a grocery store, a bakery, a butcher-caterer, a post office, a press house, a tobacconist, a pharmacy and two restaurants. It is therefore possible to stay on site without a car for a weekend.
The house is 50 minutes from the Parc de Beauval, 15 minutes from the Salbris international karting circuit, 45 minutes from Chambord, 60 minutes from Sancerre and 28 km from the Lamotte-Beuvron equestrian park. The Sauldre flows next to it to cool off in summer.
