The location on the lake cannot be beat. We thoroughly enjoyed the dock and jumping into the lake. The two-house setup was fun for our family with older kids, but maybe not for everyone. Be aware that the lake house is a steep walk down a hill from the main house. Again - not a problem for us, but something to be aware of. The upper house was a good launch pad for activities in Olympic National Park, with the bottom house serving as a base for playing in the lake.

Our large group of 16 decided on this location because of the beautiful lake view and access, and outdoor deck space for hanging out. We also chose it for the proximity to the Olympic National Park and other nearby attractions. It is a very full cottage and cabin at max capacity which was fine for us because we are family, and we also set up a tent for kids which helped as well. Also note that there is a bit of a walk from the house in the back - downhill to the lakefront property but a pretty steep uphill on the way back. This is all in the listing but I mention it here because I also originally missed some details in the fine print and found answers in the reviews we would stay here again, great location and beautiful lake set up with large dock on the lake and upper deck overlooking the lake. Our kids also used the kayaks and paddle board! Thank you for hosting us!

We had such an amazing time at this cabin and cottage! We had a celebratory wedding weekend with all of our family and friends! It was a great environment with plenty of space for all!

Made some great family memories on the absolutely beautiful waterfront deck. The beds were really comfortable, kitchen was well stocked, house was clean. Only two issues: the walk between the cottage and the house was steeper than we realized, one of our party who was a month out from an ankle injury had to drive it. Definitely wasn’t a big issue, just be aware if anyone in your party has mobility issues. Also, we happened to be there during a few warm days and it was hard to cool the house off at night with no screens on some of the windows. Other than these issues we had a blast. It was so great to have access to kayaks and paddle-boards to explore the lake.
